The wicked desire the stronghold of evildoers, but the root of the righteous endures.

恶人想得坏人的网罗；义人的根得以结实。

恶人想得坏人的猎物；义人的根结出果实。

恶人贪恋坏人的赃物，义人的根结出硕果。

恶人贪慕坏人的网罗；义人的根得以结果。

恶人贪爱坏人的赃物，义人的根将结果实。

惡人想得壞人的網羅；義人的根得以結實。

惡人貪戀壞人的贓物，義人的根結出碩果。

惡人貪慕壞人的網羅；義人的根得以結果。

壞人的堡障是淤泥；義人的根永久長存。

惡人貪愛壞人的贓物，義人的根將結果實。

惡人罔利、惡人欲得其網、義者之根、自結其實、

惡者貪非義之利、義人自食其力。

惡人為惡、如喜入惡網、善人之本必鞏固、又作惡人貪得不義之人所羅者惟善人之本無不鞏固

Those who do what is wrong are safe for just a while. But those who do what is right last forever.

Whoever is wicked covets the spoil of evildoers, but the root of the righteous bears fruit.

Thieves are jealous of each other’s loot, but the godly are well rooted and bear their own fruit.

The wicked desire what evil people have caught, but the root of the righteous is productive.

The wicked person desires the plunder of evil people, But the root of the righteous yields fruit.

The wicked covet the catch of evil men, But the root of the righteous yields fruit.

The wicked desireth the net of evil men; But the root of the righteous yieldeth fruit.

like a lion in cover he lies in wait. He lies in wait to catch the helpless; he catches the helpless and drags them off in his net.

The wealth of the rich is their fortified city, but poverty is the ruin of the poor.

Once more a remnant of the kingdom of Judah will take root below and bear fruit above.

In days to come Jacob will take root, Israel will bud and blossom and fill all the world with fruit.

That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither— whatever they do prospers.

“ But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

The faithful have been swept from the land; not one upright person remains. Everyone lies in wait to shed blood; they hunt each other with nets.

How useless to spread a net where every bird can see it!These men lie in wait for their own blood; they ambush only themselves!Such are the paths of all who go after ill-gotten gain; it takes away the life of those who get it.

But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life.

The wicked foe pulls all of them up with hooks, he catches them in his net, he gathers them up in his dragnet; and so he rejoices and is glad.Therefore he sacrifices to his net and burns incense to his dragnet, for by his net he lives in luxury and enjoys the choicest food.Is he to keep on emptying his net, destroying nations without mercy?

“ Among my people are the wicked who lie in wait like men who snare birds and like those who set traps to catch people.Like cages full of birds, their houses are full of deceit; they have become rich and powerfuland have grown fat and sleek. Their evil deeds have no limit; they do not seek justice. They do not promote the case of the fatherless; they do not defend the just cause of the poor.

Those who flatter their neighbors are spreading nets for their feet.Evildoers are snared by their own sin, but the righteous shout for joy and are glad.

Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away.The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature.But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.

The nations have fallen into the pit they have dug; their feet are caught in the net they have hidden.

“ I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit— fruit that will last— and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.
