Sin is not ended by multiplying words, but the prudent hold their tongues.

Sin is not ended by using many words. But those who are wise control their tongues.

When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but whoever restrains his lips is prudent.

Too much talk leads to sin. Be sensible and keep your mouth shut.

When there are many words, sin is unavoidable, but the one who controls his lips is prudent.

When there are many words, wrongdoing is unavoidable, But one who restrains his lips is wise.

He who spares his words has knowledge. He who is even tempered is a man of understanding.Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is counted wise. When he shuts his lips, he is thought to be discerning.

The beginning of the words of his mouth is foolishness; and the end of his talk is mischievous madness.A fool also multiplies words. Man doesn’t know what will be; and that which will be after him, who can tell him?

For as a dream comes with a multitude of cares, so a fool’s speech with a multitude of words.
