Sin is not ended by multiplying words, but the prudent hold their tongues.

Sin is not ended by using many words. But those who are wise control their tongues.

When words are many, transgression is not lacking, but whoever restrains his lips is prudent.

When there are many words, sin is unavoidable, but the one who controls his lips is prudent.

When there are many words, wrongdoing is unavoidable, But one who restrains his lips is wise.

In the multitude of words sin is not lacking, But he who restrains his lips is wise.

A truly wise person uses few words; a person with understanding is even tempered.Even fools are thought wise when they keep silent; with their mouths shut, they seem intelligent.

Fools base their thoughts on foolish assumptions, so their conclusions will be wicked madness;they chatter on and on. No one really knows what is going to happen; no one can predict the future.

Too much activity gives you restless dreams; too many words make you a fool.
