But those who listen to me will live in safety. They will be at ease and have no fear of being harmed.”

Who are the people who have respect for the Lord? God will teach them the ways they should choose.Things will always go well for them. Their children will be given the land.

They aren’t afraid when bad news comes. They stand firm because they trust in the Lord.Their hearts are secure. They aren’t afraid. In the end they will see their enemies destroyed.

Anyone who shows respect for the Lord has a strong tower. It will be a safe place for their children.

Do not be afraid when you hear about wars and about fighting against rulers. Those things must happen first. But the end will not come right away.”

Through wisdom, you will live a long time. Years will be added to your life.

My sheep listen to my voice. I know them, and they follow me.I give them eternal life, and they will never die. No one will steal them out of my hand.My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than anyone. No one can steal them out of my Father’s hand.

Lord, you will give perfect peace to those who commit themselves to be faithful to you. That’s because they trust in you.

“ My children, listen to me. Blessed are those who keep my ways.Listen to my teaching and be wise. Don’t turn away from it.Blessed are those who listen to me. They watch every day at my doors. They wait beside my doorway.Those who find me find life. They receive blessing from the Lord.

Remain strong in the faith, and you will receive eternal life.

“ I wish my people would listen to me! I wish Israel would live as I want them to live!

I wish you would pay attention to my commands. If you did, peace would flow over you like a river. Godliness would sweep over you like the waves of the ocean.

While Peter was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them. A voice from the cloud said,“ This is my Son, and I love him. I am very pleased with him. Listen to him!”

Listen and come to me. Pay attention to me. Then you will live. I will make a covenant with you that will last forever. I will give you my faithful love. I promised it to David.

Through faith you are kept safe by God’s power. Your salvation is going to be completed. It is ready to be shown to you in the last days.

My son, do not let wisdom and understanding out of your sight. Hold on to good sense and the understanding of what is right.They will be life for you. They will be like a gracious necklace around your neck.Then you will go on your way in safety. You will not trip and fall.When you lie down, you won’t be afraid. When you lie down, you will sleep soundly.Don’t be terrified by sudden trouble. Don’t be afraid when sinners are destroyed.The Lord will be at your side. He will keep your feet from being caught in a trap.

Who can separate us from Christ’s love? Can trouble or hard times or harm or hunger? Can nakedness or danger or war?It is written,“ Because of you, we face death all day long. We are considered as sheep to be killed.”( Psalm 44:22)No! In all these things we are more than winners! We owe it all to Christ, who has loved us.I am absolutely sure that not even death or life can separate us from God’s love. Not even angels or demons, the present or the future, or any powers can separate us.Not even the highest places or the lowest, or anything else in all creation can separate us. Nothing at all can ever separate us from God’s love. That’s because of what Christ Jesus our Lord has done.
