凡厥名自創世以來未錄於被宰羔羊之生命冊者、咸將翕然、景仰此獸。

凡百折不撓、終克致勝者、必得被以白袍；吾當使厥名長留生命冊上、而永不見削、且認之於吾父及眾天神之前也。

一切不淨及邪妄之徒、莫得而入；惟錄名於羔羊之生命冊者得入焉。

所望爾等立身處世、日用之間、在在以無忝基督之福音為念；且不僅於爾我相晤時為然、即暫相睽隔、亦願聞爾等團結一致、堅立不移、

寡婦年逾六十、而未再醮者、乃可予以入冊。其人必須有賢德之稱曾教養兒女善待賓客、且為聖徒洗足、平生濟人之難、周人之急、孳孳為善、惟日不足者、方得稱是。

茲特介紹與爾、務請仰體主心、殷勤接納、一切予以照拂、以盡同道之誼。彼在過去曾照拂多人、予亦曾受其惠也。問候彼斯加與亞吉拉、及其家中之教會同人；二位皆仰體基督耶穌與我同勞、曾冒萬死以救吾命、不惟吾個人感荷其恩、即異邦諸教會亦有同感。

兄弟乎、我憑天主之仁慈、剴切求爾獻身天主、而為有生之犧牲、聖潔無疵、以邀天主之悅納；此即內心事主之道也。
