I want to know Christ— yes, to know the power of his resurrection and participation in his sufferings, becoming like him in his death,

The statement is trustworthy: For if we died with Him, we will also live with Him;If we endure, we will also reign with Him; If we deny Him, He will also deny us;

and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

and what is the boundless greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His mightwhich He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places,far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.

More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them mere rubbish, so that I may gain Christ,

Therefore, if you have been raised with Christ, keep seeking the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

Or do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death?Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too may walk in newness of life.For if we have become united with Him in the likeness of His death, certainly we shall also be in the likeness of His resurrection,knowing this, that our old self was crucified with Him, in order that our body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be slaves to sin;for the one who has died is freed from sin.Now if we have died with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with Him,knowing that Christ, having been raised from the dead, is never to die again; death no longer is master over Him.For the death that He died, He died to sin once for all time; but the life that He lives, He lives to God.So you too, consider yourselves to be dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.

Therefore, since Christ has suffered in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same purpose, because the one who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin,so as to live the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human lusts, but for the will of God.

but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that at the revelation of His glory you may also rejoice and be overjoyed.If you are insulted for the name of Christ, you are blessed, because the Spirit of glory, and of God, rests upon you.

Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I am supplementing what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions in behalf of His body, which is the church.

By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments.

For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters;

For indeed He was crucified because of weakness, yet He lives because of the power of God. For we too are weak in Him, yet we will live with Him because of the power of God directed toward you.

For just as the sufferings of Christ are ours in abundance, so also our comfort is abundant through Christ.

always carrying around in the body the dying of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.For we who live are constantly being handed over to death because of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our mortal flesh.So death works in us, but life in you.But having the same spirit of faith, according to what is written:“ I believed, therefore I spoke,” we also believe, therefore we also speak,

Jesus said to her,“ I am the resurrection and the life; the one who believes in Me will live, even if he dies,and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”

And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.

The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.“ Truly, truly, I say to you, the one who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.Truly, truly, I say to you, a time is coming and even now has arrived, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.For just as the Father has life in Himself, so He gave to the Son also to have life in Himself;and He gave Him authority to execute judgment, because He is the Son of Man.Do not be amazed at this; for a time is coming when all who are in the tombs will hear His voice,and will come out: those who did the good deeds to a resurrection of life, those who committed the bad deeds to a resurrection of judgment.

until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose from the dead, so also God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep through Jesus.For we say this to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will not precede those who have fallen asleep.

and the living One; and I was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of death and of Hades.
