然以愛故寧求爾、如一老邁之保羅、今且為基督耶穌之囚、

然爾我素相愛、與其命爾、不如求爾、蓋我保羅今老矣、而為耶穌基督囚、

然以愛故、寧求爾、蓋我保羅已老矣、今因耶穌基督被囚、

惟為成全愛德、寧以勸勉出之。我葆樂已龍鍾老矣；今且為基督耶穌之故、而遭受禁錮；

yet I prefer to appeal to you on the basis of love. It is as none other than Paul— an old man and now also a prisoner of Christ Jesus—

But we love each other. And I would rather appeal to you on the basis of that love. I, Paul, am an old man. I am now also a prisoner because of Christ Jesus.

yet for love’s sake I prefer to appeal to you— I, Paul, an old man and now a prisoner also for Christ Jesus—

But because of our love, I prefer simply to ask you. Consider this as a request from me— Paul, an old man and now also a prisoner for the sake of Christ Jesus.

I appeal to you, instead, on the basis of love. I, Paul, as an elderly man and now also as a prisoner of Christ Jesus,

yet for love’s sake I rather appeal to you— since I am such a person as Paul, an old man, and now also a prisoner of Christ Jesus—

yet for love’s sake I rather beseech, being such a one as Paul the aged, and now a prisoner also of Christ Jesus:

I appeal to you, instead, on the basis of love. I, Paul, as an elderly man and now also as a prisoner of Christ Jesus,

Yet for love’s sake I rather beseech[ thee], being such an one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.

I would rather appeal to you on the basis of love– I, Paul, an old man and even now a prisoner for the sake of Christ Jesus–

yet for love’s sake I rather beg, being such a one as Paul, the aged, but also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.

I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.

Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ’s behalf, be reconciled to God.

The silver-haired head is a crown of glory, If it is found in the way of righteousness.

Do not cast me off in the time of old age; Do not forsake me when my strength fails.

Even to your old age, I am He, And even to gray hairs I will carry you! I have made, and I will bear; Even I will carry, and will deliver you.

Now also when I am old and grayheaded, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to everyone who is to come.

Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother, To Philemon our beloved friend and fellow laborer,to the beloved Apphia, Archippus our fellow soldier, and to the church in your house:Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.I thank my God, making mention of you always in my prayers,hearing of your love and faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints,that the sharing of your faith may become effective by the acknowledgment of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.For we have great joy and consolation in your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed by you, brother.Therefore, though I might be very bold in Christ to command you what is fitting,yet for love’s sake I rather appeal to you— being such a one as Paul, the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ—I appeal to you for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten while in my chains,who once was unprofitable to you, but now is profitable to you and to me.I am sending him back. I will repay— not to mention to you that you owe me even your own self besides.Yes, brother, let me have joy from you in the Lord; refresh my heart in the Lord.Having confidence in your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do even more than I say.But, meanwhile, also prepare a guest room for me, for I trust that through your prayers I shall be granted to you.Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, greets you,as do Mark, Aristarchus, Demas, Luke, my fellow laborers.The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for you Gentiles—

Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which war against the soul,

But I especially urge you to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.

We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain.
