For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all the saints,

since we heard about your faith in Christ Jesus and the love that you have for all the saints.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision carries any weight– the only thing that matters is faith working through love.

As for God’s chosen people who are in the land, and the leading officials I admired so much–

So Peter got up and went with them, and when he arrived they brought him to the upper room. All the widows stood beside him, crying and showing him the tunics and other clothing Dorcas used to make while she was with them.But Peter sent them all outside, knelt down, and prayed.
