但我意必遣我兄弟以巴弗提就爾、乃與我同勞同伍、為爾之使、供我所需者、

故勿以證主與我因之被囚為恥、惟依上帝之能、與福音共患難、

並有耶數又名猶士都者、亦問爾安、是皆受割者、惟此三人為上帝國與我同勞、而慰我焉、

緣此、我保羅因爾異邦人、為基督耶穌之囚、

蓋我儕乃上帝同勞者、爾曹為上帝之田、上帝之室、○

然以愛故寧求爾、如一老邁之保羅、今且為基督耶穌之囚、

由上帝旨、為耶穌基督使徒保羅、與兄弟提摩太、

遣我兄弟提摩太、於基督福音為上帝役者、以堅爾曹、為爾之信而慰爾、

由上帝旨、為基督耶穌使徒保羅、及兄弟提摩太、書達哥林多之上帝會、與徧亞該亞諸聖徒、

緣此、我為縲絏中之使者、俾得侃侃而言、如所當言、○

保羅西拉提摩太書達帖撒羅尼迦之會、在我父上帝及主耶穌基督中者、

及同勞之馬可亞里達古底馬路加皆問爾安、

故我為主被囚者勸爾、所行宜稱乎所蒙之召、

又求我真侶、助此二婦、以其昔與我及革利免、並其餘之同勞、協力於福音、名錄於維生之書者、○
