You should not gloat over your brother in the day of his misfortune, nor rejoice over the people of Judah in the day of their destruction, nor boast so much in the day of their trouble.

現在許多國家一起來攻擊你們，說：「願錫安遭蹂躪，我們要看著錫安被毀滅。」

你既因以色列的荒涼而幸災樂禍，我要讓你遭受同樣的下場。西珥山啊，你和以東都要荒涼。這樣，你們就知道我是耶和華。』

嘲笑窮人等於侮辱造物主，幸災樂禍的人必難逃懲罰。

不要再驕橫傲慢、口出狂言，因為耶和華鑒察萬事，祂會按著人的行為施行審判。

我身上的骨頭歷歷可見，人們都幸災樂禍地看著我。

願你堵住撒謊之人的口，他們驕傲自大，狂妄地攻擊義人。

我親眼看見我的敵人被擊潰，親耳聽見那些攻擊我的惡人被打敗。

我的上帝愛我，祂會幫助我，讓我欣然看見仇敵遭報。

「你這聲稱把聖殿拆毀又在三天內重建的人啊，救救自己吧！你要是上帝的兒子，就從十字架上下來吧！」祭司長、律法教師和長老也嘲諷說：「祂救了別人，卻救不了自己！祂要是以色列的王，就從十字架上跳下來吧！我們就信祂。祂說信靠上帝，如果上帝喜悅祂，就讓上帝來救祂吧！因為祂自稱是上帝的兒子。」

耶穌快到耶路撒冷時，看見那城就哀哭，

仇敵跌倒，不要幸災樂禍；仇敵敗落，不要心裡歡喜。否則，耶和華看見會不悅，不再向仇敵發烈怒。

我的仇敵啊，你們不要對我幸災樂禍！我雖跌倒，但必再爬起來；我雖坐在黑暗裡，但耶和華必做我的光。我得罪了耶和華，所以要忍受祂的懲罰，直到祂為我辯護，替我伸冤。祂必領我進入光明，我必親睹祂的公義。從前嘲笑我說「你的上帝耶和華在哪裡」的仇敵看見這事，都必滿面羞愧。我必親眼看見他們遭到報應，他們要像街上的泥土一樣被人踐踏。

你藉你的使者侮辱主。你說你帶著許多戰車上到群山之巔，上到黎巴嫩的巔峰，砍下最高的香柏樹和上好的松樹，征服最高的山和最美的樹林。

「主耶和華說，『你們看到以色列的災禍，便幸災樂禍，手舞足蹈。因此，我要伸手攻擊你們，使你們成為各國的俘虜。我必從萬民中剷除你們，從萬國中消滅你們，使你們滅絕。這樣，你們就知道我是耶和華。』

烏斯地區的以東人啊，只管歡喜作樂吧！因為盛滿耶和華憤怒的杯也要傳到你們那裡。你們必喝醉，以致赤身露體。

同樣，人的舌頭雖然很小，卻能說誇大的話。看啊，小火星能點燃大森林。

這些人滿腹牢騷，怨天尤人，放縱自己的邪情私慾。他們口出狂言，為了謀利而阿諛奉承他人。

巨龍又使怪獸說狂妄、褻瀆的話，並給牠權柄，可以任意妄為四十二個月。

但耶和華嗤笑邪惡人，因為祂知道他們末日將臨。

「我何曾因敵人遭殃而歡喜，因他們遇禍而快樂？

他們口出狂言，空話連篇，以肉體的邪情私慾為餌，誘惑那些剛剛擺脫了荒謬生活的人。

你拯救我脫離一切艱難，讓我傲視仇敵。
