Whether the cloud stayed over the tabernacle for two days or a month or a year, the Israelites would remain in camp and not set out; but when it lifted, they would set out.

It didn’t matter whether the cloud stayed above the holy tent for two days or a month or a year. The Israelites would remain in camp. They wouldn’t start out. But when the cloud lifted, they would start out.

Whether it was two days, or a month, or a longer time, that the cloud continued over the tabernacle, abiding there, the people of Israel remained in camp and did not set out, but when it lifted they set out.

Thus Moses did; according to all that the Lord had commanded him, so he did.

“ The Lord our God spoke to us in Horeb, saying:‘ You have dwelt long enough at this mountain.Turn and take your journey, and go to the mountains of the Amorites, to all the neighboring places in the plain, in the mountains and in the lowland, in the South and on the seacoast, to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, as far as the great river, the River Euphrates.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.

According to all that the Lord had commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did all the work.

You led Your people like a flock By the hand of Moses and Aaron.

Thus the children of Israel did; according to all that the Lord commanded Moses, so they did.

‘ You have skirted this mountain long enough; turn northward.And command the people, saying,“ You are about to pass through the territory of your brethren, the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir; and they will be afraid of you. Therefore watch yourselves carefully.

Teach me to do Your will, For You are my God; Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.

And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father,“ which,” He said,“ you have heard from Me;

“ He has not observed iniquity in Jacob, Nor has He seen wickedness in Israel. The Lord his God is with him, And the shout of a King is among them.God brings them out of Egypt; He has strength like a wild ox.

You will guide me with Your counsel, And afterward receive me to glory.

For this is God, Our God forever and ever; He will be our guide Even to death.
