有时从晚上到早晨，有这云彩在帐幕上；早晨云彩收上去，他们就起行。有时昼夜云彩停在帐幕上，收上去的时候，他们就起行。

有时云彩从晚上留到早晨；早晨云彩上升，他们就起行。无论是白天是黑夜，当云彩上升的时候，他们就要起行。

自夕達旦、雲止、及至詰朝雲昇、其昇之時、無論晝夜、遄征勿緩。

有時雲覆幕自夕至旦、迨晨雲昇、民則啟行、有時雲覆會幕一晝夜乃昇、民則啟行、

Sometimes the cloud stayed only from evening till morning, and when it lifted in the morning, they set out. Whether by day or by night, whenever the cloud lifted, they set out.

你还是大施怜悯，在旷野不丢弃他们。白昼，云柱不离开他们，仍引导他们行路；黑夜，火柱也不离开他们，仍照亮他们当行的路。

并且白昼用云柱引导他们，黑夜用火柱照亮他们当行的路。
