此乃婦既有夫、而違婦道、玷及其身、則夫懷疑而忌其婦之法、

今所言者、乃婦不循婦道、玷及其身、致夫懷疑、故立此法、

此乃治婦背夫行不正玷污其身、致夫懷疑之例、

“‘ This, then, is the law of jealousy when a woman goes astray and makes herself impure while married to her husband,

祭司要叫那婦人起誓，對她說：‘如果沒有人與你同寢，作妻子時沒有背棄丈夫被人玷污，你就免受這使人招致咒詛的苦水。

“你要告訴以色列人說：無論甚麼人，如果他的妻子背離丈夫，對他不忠，

以上是與羊毛衣服或是麻布衣服、編結的或紡織的或任何皮子做的物件有關的發霉律例，可以斷定潔淨，或是不潔淨。

這人就要把妻子帶到祭司那裡，又要為她帶來供物，就是大麥麵一公斤，不可澆上油，也不可加上乳香，因為這是疑忌的素祭，是思念的素祭，使人思念罪孽。

“獻給耶和華的平安祭的律例是這樣：

以上就是有關走獸、飛禽、所有在水中游行的動物，和所有在地上爬行的動物的律例，

因為萬軍之耶和華的葡萄園就是以色列家，他喜悅的樹就是猶大人；他期望的是公平，但看到的只是流血的事；他期望的是公義，聽到的只是哀叫聲。那些使房屋連接房屋，使田地連接田地，以致不留餘地的人，有禍了！你們只可以獨居在境內。

以上是關於因為異常排泄和遺精，成為不潔淨，以及患病污穢的婦女和患血漏的男女，還有男人與不潔淨的女人同睡的律例。

以上是有關各種痲風病、癬疥、衣服和房屋發霉、腫瘤、瘡癬和火斑的律例；指示人知道甚麼時候不潔淨，甚麼時候潔淨。這是痲風病的律例。
