If she has made herself impure and been unfaithful to her husband, this will be the result: When she is made to drink the water that brings a curse and causes bitter suffering, it will enter her, her abdomen will swell and her womb will miscarry, and she will become a curse.

Suppose she has made herself“ unclean.” She has not been faithful to her husband. And she has drunk the water that brings a curse. Then it will go into her body. It will cause her to suffer bitterly. It will make her body unable to have children. She will become a curse.

And when he has made her drink the water, then, if she has defiled herself and has broken faith with her husband, the water that brings the curse shall enter into her and cause bitter pain, and her womb shall swell, and her thigh shall fall away, and the woman shall become a curse among her people.

我必用刀剑、饥荒、瘟疫追赶他们，使他们在天下万国抛来抛去，在我所赶他们到的各国中，令人咒诅、惊骇、嗤笑、羞辱。

那定意进入埃及地、在那里寄居的，就是所剩下的犹大人，我必使他们尽都灭绝，必在埃及地仆倒，必因刀剑饥荒灭绝；从最小的到至大的都必遭刀剑饥荒而死，以致令人辱骂、惊骇、咒诅、羞辱。

住巴比伦一切被掳的犹大人必藉这二人赌咒说：‘愿耶和华使你像巴比伦王在火中烧的西底家和亚哈一样。’

你们必留下自己的名，为我选民指着赌咒。主耶和华必杀你们，另起别名称呼他的仆人。

你在耶和华领你到的各国中，要令人惊骇、笑谈、讥诮。

我必使他们交出来，在天下万国中抛来抛去，遭遇灾祸；在我赶逐他们到的各处成为凌辱、笑谈、讥刺、咒诅。

我得知有等妇人比死还苦：她的心是网罗，手是锁链。凡蒙神喜悦的人必能躲避她；有罪的人却被她缠住了。

求你待他们，如待米甸，如在基顺河待西西拉和耶宾一样。他们在隐多珥灭亡，成了地上的粪土。求你叫他们的首领像俄立和西伊伯，叫他们的王子都像西巴和撒慕拿。

你若背着丈夫行了污秽的事，在你丈夫以外有人与你行淫，

因为我们得知真道以后，若故意犯罪，赎罪的祭就再没有了；惟有战惧等候审判和那烧灭众敌人的烈火。人干犯摩西的律法，凭两三个见证人，尚且不得怜恤而死，何况人践踏神的儿子，将那使他成圣之约的血当作平常，又亵慢施恩的圣灵，你们想，他要受的刑罚该怎样加重呢！因为我们知道谁说：“伸冤在我，我必报应”；又说：“主要审判他的百姓。”

你们现今所看为羞耻的事，当日有什么果子呢？那些事的结局就是死。

在这等人，就作了死的香气叫他死；在那等人，就作了活的香气叫他活。这事谁能当得起呢？

那些随肉身、纵污秽的情欲、轻慢主治之人的，更是如此。他们胆大任性，毁谤在尊位的，也不知惧怕。

至终却苦似茵陈，快如两刃的刀。她的脚下入死地；她脚步踏住阴间，以致她找不着生命平坦的道。她的路变迁不定，自己还不知道。众子啊，现在要听从我；不可离弃我口中的话。你所行的道要离她远，不可就近她的房门，恐怕将你的尊荣给别人，将你的岁月给残忍的人；恐怕外人满得你的力量，你劳碌得来的，归入外人的家；终久，你皮肉和身体消毁，你就悲叹，
