正如我们一个身体有很多部分，而且各部分都有不同的功用；照样，我们这许多人，在基督里是一个身体，而且各个部分都彼此相属。照着所赐给我们的恩典，我们各有不同的恩赐：如果是做先知传道的恩赐，就按照信心的程度用它；如果是服事的，就用在服事上；如果是教导的，就用在教导上；如果是劝勉的，就用在劝勉上；分享的，要慷慨；带领的，要殷勤；怜悯人的，要甘心乐意。

耶和华的灵必停留在那一位身上，就是智慧和悟性的灵，谋略和大能的灵，知识和敬畏耶和华的灵。他以敬畏耶和华为乐，审断不凭眼见，裁决不凭耳闻。他必以公义审断贫弱者，以正直裁决世上的卑微人；以口中的杖击打世界，以嘴里的气杀死恶人。

“看哪，我的仆人——我所扶持、我所拣选、我心所喜悦的！我已经把我的灵赐给他，他必给列国带来公正。他不喧嚷，不扬声，也不使人在街上听见他的声音。压伤的芦苇，他不折断；将残的灯火，他不熄灭。他凭着信实带来公正。他不衰残，也不被压服，直到他在地上设立公正；众海岛都期盼他的律法。”神耶和华创造诸天，展开穹苍，铺张地和地所出的一切，又把气息赐给地上的众人，把灵赐给行在其中的人——神耶和华如此说：“我耶和华以公义召唤了你，我必紧拉着你的手，守护你。我要立你作万民之约，作列国之光，为要开瞎眼之人的眼睛，领被囚的出监狱，领坐在黑暗中的出牢房。
