殺人者不得以金贖、必死毋赦。

故杀人、犯死罪的，你们不可收赎价代替他的命；他必被治死。

“‘ Do not accept a ransom for the life of a murderer, who deserves to die. They are to be put to death.

“‘ Do not accept payment for a murderer’s life. A murderer deserves to die. They must certainly be put to death.

Moreover, you shall accept no ransom for the life of a murderer, who is guilty of death, but he shall be put to death.

Also, you must never accept a ransom payment for the life of someone judged guilty of murder and subject to execution; murderers must always be put to death.

You are not to accept a ransom for the life of someone who is guilty of murder; he must be put to death.

昔約押不從押沙龍、後從亞多尼雅、今聞王所為、則遁於耶和華會幕、而執壇角。或以此事告所羅門、所羅門遣耶何耶大子庇拿雅擊之。庇拿雅至耶和華會幕、告約押曰、王使爾出。曰、否、我必死於此、庇拿雅以約押言反告於王。王曰、可如其言而行、擊而葬之、於是約押流無辜之血、其罪不歸於我、亦不歸我父之家。彼刃擊二人、較己尤善、即以色列族軍長尼耳子押尼耳、猶大族軍長益帖子亞馬撒、我父大闢不之知也、今耶和華必以是罪歸之。此罪必永歸約押、及其苗裔、惟耶和華必賜平康於大闢眷聚、爰其苗裔、至於國家永世靡暨。耶何耶大子庇拿雅遂往擊約押、殺之、葬於私宅、地鄰曠野。

如惡謀詭計殺人、雖逋逃於祭壇、亦執以償。

或獸傷人、或人相殺、凡流血殞命、殘害兄弟者、我必伸其冤。余造世人、與我維肖、故流人血者、人必流其血。

如人讎怨同儕、伏而擊之、以致於死、後遁於斯邑、則彼邑之長老、必遣人執之、付於被殺者之戚屬、以償其命。爾勿姑縱、如是可絕殺人之罪於以色列族中、而爾納福。○

我救主上帝兮、殺人之罪、爾其宥予、則我謳歌、頌爾仁慈兮、

大闢曰、我犯罪於耶和華。拿單曰、耶和華已宥爾罪、不至死亡。
