玛拿西那半支派和流便、迦得二支派已经受了产业，就是耶和华的仆人摩西在约旦河东所赐给他们的：

在那些日子，耶和华才割裂以色列国，使哈薛攻击以色列的境界，乃是约旦河东、基列全地，从靠近亚嫩谷边的亚罗珥起，就是基列和巴珊的迦得人、流便人、玛拿西人之地。

你们的妻子、孩子，和牲畜都可以留在约旦河东、摩西所给你们的地；但你们中间一切大能的勇士都要带着兵器在你们的弟兄前面过去，帮助他们，等到耶和华使你们的弟兄像你们一样得享平安，并且得着耶和华你们神所赐他们为业之地，那时才可以回你们所得之地，承受为业，就是耶和华的仆人摩西在约旦河东、向日出之地所给你们的。”

他们得罪了他们列祖的神，随从那地之民的神行邪淫；这民就是神在他们面前所除灭的。故此，以色列的神激动亚述王普勒和亚述王提革拉毗列色的心，他们就把流便人、迦得人、玛拿西半支派的人掳到哈腊、哈博、哈拉与歌散河边，直到今日还在那里。

又把亚伯兰的侄儿罗得和罗得的财物掳掠去了。当时罗得正住在所多玛。

我们要带兵器，在耶和华面前过去，进入迦南地，只是约旦河这边、我们所得为业之地仍归我们。”摩西将亚摩利王西宏的国和巴珊王噩的国，连那地和周围的城邑，都给了迦得子孙和流便子孙，并约瑟的儿子玛拿西半个支派。

以色列王比加年间，亚述王提革拉毗列色来夺了以云、亚伯伯玛迦、亚挪、基低斯、夏琐、基列、加利利，和拿弗他利全地，将这些地方的居民都掳到亚述去了。

起初速得的产业，终久却不为福。

以色列人在约旦河外向日出之地击杀二王，得他们的地，就是从亚嫩谷直到黑门山，并东边的全亚拉巴之地。这二王，有住希实本、亚摩利人的王西宏。他所管之地是从亚嫩谷边的亚罗珥和谷中的城，并基列一半，直到亚扪人的境界，雅博河与约旦河东边的亚拉巴，直到基尼烈海，又到亚拉巴的海，就是盐海，通伯耶西末的路，以及南方，直到毗斯迦的山根。又有巴珊王噩。他是利乏音人所剩下的，住在亚斯他录和以得来。他所管之地是黑门山、撒迦、巴珊全地，直到基述人和玛迦人的境界，并基列一半，直到希实本王西宏的境界。这二王是耶和华仆人摩西和以色列人所击杀的；耶和华仆人摩西将他们的地赐给流便人、迦得人，和玛拿西半支派的人为业。

罗得举目看见约旦河的全平原，直到琐珥，都是滋润的，那地在耶和华未灭所多玛、蛾摩拉以先如同耶和华的园子，也像埃及地。于是罗得选择约旦河的全平原，往东迁移；他们就彼此分离了。亚伯兰住在迦南地，罗得住在平原的城邑，渐渐挪移帐棚，直到所多玛。

这两个半支派已经在耶利哥对面、约旦河东、向日出之地受了产业。”
