耶和华击杀伯示麦人，因为他们擅自看了耶和华的约柜里面；他击杀了民众五万零七十个人。耶和华大大击杀民众，民众就悲恸。

因此，弟兄们，我们藉着耶稣的血，可以坦然无惧地进入至圣所。他为我们开辟了一条又新又活的道路，从幔子经过；这幔子就是他的身体。既然我们有一位伟大的祭司管理神的家，既然我们的心被血洒过，脱离了罪恶感，身体也被清水洗净了，就让我们怀着真诚的心，以确信不移的信仰近前来；

由此可见，你们不再是外人，或寄居的；你们是圣徒的同国之民，是神家里的人，

既然如此，如果他在地上，就不会做祭司，因为地上已经有照着律法献祭物的祭司。

你要思想这些事，投身其中，使你的长进在大家面前清清楚楚。你要留意自己和自己的教导，在这些事上要有恒心，因为这样做，不但能救你自己，也能救那些听从你的人。
