“‘ On the day of firstfruits, when you present to the Lord an offering of new grain during the Festival of Weeks, hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work.

“‘ On the day you gather the first share of your crops, present to the Lord an offering of your first grain. Do it during the Feast of Weeks. Come together for a special service. Do not do any regular work.

“ On the day of the firstfruits, when you offer a grain offering of new grain to the Lord at your Feast of Weeks, you shall have a holy convocation. You shall not do any ordinary work,

“ At the Festival of Harvest, when you present the first of your new grain to the Lord, you must call an official day for holy assembly, and you may do no ordinary work on that day.

“ On the day of firstfruits, you are to hold a sacred assembly when you present an offering of new grain to the LORD at your Festival of Weeks; you are not to do any daily work.

‘ Also on the day of the first fruits, when you present a new grain offering to the Lord in your Feast of Weeks, you shall have a holy assembly; you shall do no laborious work.

‘ Also on the day of the firstfruits, when you bring a new grain offering to the Lord at your Feast of Weeks, you shall have a holy convocation. You shall do no customary work.

Also in the day of the first- fruits, when ye offer a new meal- offering unto Jehovah in your feast of weeks, ye shall have a holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work;

爾所植於田者、當初穡時、必守節禮、歲聿云暮、盡收所產、亦必守節禮。

告以色列族云、爾至我所賜之地、穫田所產、必取初實之穗一束、奉於祭司、

自安息日之明晨、搖穗之日、必核七七日、而盈其數、越至五旬、獻禮物於我、以薦其新、取粉一斗二升於爾家、和以酵、製成圓饅、以薦初實、搖而獻我。外此更獻未盈歲之羔七、純潔是務、牡犢一、牡綿羊二、與其禮物、奠之以酒、俱燔以獻、取其馨香、而奉事我。又獻山羊之羔一、為贖罪祭、未盈歲之綿羊羔二、為酬恩祭、祭司取此與初實之麥所作圓饅、搖於我前、是物既獻於我、必歸祭司、是日必有聖會、播告於眾、咸止工作、著為永例、歷代勿替、隨往勿易。

始用鐮刈穀之時、必核七七日、七七日既過、必守節以奉爾上帝耶和華、既蒙其錫嘏、惟心所願、獻禮物以供役事、爾上帝耶和華特簡之室、為人籲名之所、爾與子女僕婢、及主爾家之利未人、暨賓旅孤寡、俱必欣喜懽忭、於爾上帝耶和華前。

節之首日、必有聖會、咸止工作、

自行己志、以真道生我、為億兆首宗主之人、

然基督誠甦、其甦為諸死者始、

時維五旬節、門徒咸集、惟一心、忽自天有聲、如奮迅之風、充滿坐室、遂見火焰如舌、歧而止各人上、眾感聖神、克言各國方言、即聖神所傳授者、時有敬虔之猶太人、自天下諸國而來、寓耶路撒冷、此聲一作、眾集聽、門徒依眾人方言而語、則駭、驚奇相告曰、言者非加利利人乎、乃聞其語、竟為我各人所生之方言、何也、此間、有怕提亞人、米太人、以攔人、居米所波大米、猶太、伽帕多家、本都、亞西亞、弗呂家、旁非利亞、埃及、濱古利奈之呂彼亞、諸方人、來自羅馬之旅人、或猶太、或進教者、又有革哩底亞喇伯人、咸聽以我方言、述上帝大用焉、於是眾奇之、猶豫相問曰、此何意耶、有戲之曰、此人酣酒耳、○
