『願永恆主萬人之靈的上帝立一個人來治理會眾，

請耶和華、世人諸神之上帝、簡立一人、統轄會眾、

耶和華上帝乎、爾以生氣賜於億兆、請立一人、統轄會眾、

天主耶和華、賜生氣於一切身軀者、或作天主耶和華賜生命於凡有血氣者求立一人治理此會、

“ May the Lord, the God who gives breath to all living things, appoint someone over this community

“ Lord, you are the God who gives life and breath to all living things. Please put someone in charge of this community.

“ Let the Lord, the God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation

“ O Lord, you are the God who gives breath to all creatures. Please appoint a new man as leader for the community.

“ May the LORD, the God who gives breath to all, appoint a man over the community

“ May the Lord, the God of the spirits of humanity, appoint a man over the congregation,

“ Let the Lord, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation,

Let Jehovah, the God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation,

Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation,

“ Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all humankind, appoint a man over the community,

“ Let Yahweh, the God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation,

But Moses and Aaron fell facedown and said,“ God, God of the spirits of all flesh, when one man sins, will You vent Your wrath on the whole community?”

Furthermore, we had natural fathers discipline us, and we respected them. Shouldn’t we submit even more to the Father of spirits and live?

“ For this is what the Lord God says: See, I Myself will search for My flock and look for them.As a shepherd looks for his sheep on the day he is among his scattered flock, so I will look for My flock. I will rescue them from all the places where they have been scattered on a cloudy and dark day.I will bring them out from the peoples, gather them from the countries, and bring them into their own land. I will shepherd them on the mountains of Israel, in the ravines, and in all the inhabited places of the land.I will tend them with good pasture, and their grazing place will be on Israel’s lofty mountains. There they will lie down in a good grazing place; they will feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel.I will tend My flock and let them lie down.” This is the declaration of the Lord God.“ I will seek the lost, bring back the strays, bandage the injured, and strengthen the weak, but I will destroy the fat and the strong. I will shepherd them with justice.

Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”

So I plan to build a temple for the name of Yahweh my God, according to what the Lord promised my father David:‘ I will put your son on your throne in your place, and he will build the temple for My name.’

“ I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.

Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock that the Holy Spirit has appointed you to as overseers, to shepherd the church of God, which He purchased with His own blood.

“ Now here is the king you’ve chosen, the one you requested. Look, this is the king the Lord has placed over you.

I will give you shepherds who are loyal to Me, and they will shepherd you with knowledge and skill.

Shepherd God’s flock among you, not overseeing out of compulsion but freely, according to God’s will; not for the money but eagerly;not lording it over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.

My servant David will be king over them, and there will be one shepherd for all of them. They will follow My ordinances, and keep My statutes and obey them.

I will appoint over them a single shepherd, My servant David, and he will shepherd them. He will tend them himself and will be their shepherd.

I will raise up shepherds over them who will shepherd them. They will no longer be afraid or dismayed, nor will any be missing.” This is the Lord’s declaration.“ The days are coming”— this is the Lord’s declaration—“ when I will raise up a Righteous Branch of David. He will reign wisely as king and administer justice and righteousness in the land.

The Lord said to Moses,“ The time of your death is now approaching. Call Joshua and present yourselves at the tent of meeting so that I may commission him.” When Moses and Joshua went and presented themselves at the tent of meeting,
