耶和華種植了黎巴嫩的香柏樹，使它們得到充沛的水源，

他們必來到錫安山上歡呼，為耶和華所賜的五穀、新酒、油、羔羊和牛犢而歡欣。他們就像水源充足的田園，一無所缺。

耶和華必不斷地引導你們，使你們在乾旱之地也能得到供應，筋骨強健。你們必像灌溉充足的園子，又像湧流不息的泉源。

「到那日，群山要滴下甜酒，丘陵要流出乳汁。猶大的溪澗碧水常流，必有清泉從耶和華的殿中流出，澆灌什亭谷。

義人必如生機勃勃的棕櫚樹，像茁壯生長的黎巴嫩香柏樹。他們栽在耶和華的殿中，他們在我們上帝的院子裡長得枝繁葉茂。他們到老仍然結果子，一片青翠，

願你使那些迫害我的人蒙羞，不要使我蒙羞；願你使他們驚慌，不要使我驚慌。求你使他們大禍臨頭，徹底毀滅他們。

看啊，亞述曾是黎巴嫩的一棵香柏樹，枝繁葉茂，遮天蔽日，高聳入雲。它在河流和深泉的滋潤下茁壯成長，溪流四圍環繞它，澆灌著林間的樹木。

耶和華上帝在東方的伊甸開闢了一個園子，把祂所造的人安置在裡面。耶和華上帝使地面長出各種樹木，它們既好看又能結出可吃的果子。在園子的中間有生命樹和分別善惡的樹。有一條河從伊甸流出來灌溉那園子，又從那裡分出四條支流。

我下到核桃園中，要看看谷中嫩綠的植物，看看葡萄樹是否已發芽，石榴樹是否正在開花。

你的衣袍散發出沒藥、沉香和肉桂的芬芳，你陶醉在象牙宮的弦樂中。

沿河兩岸長著各種果樹，樹的葉子不會枯乾，果實也不會斷絕。樹必月月結出新果，不但果實可吃，葉子還可作藥用，因為這水是從聖所流出來的。」

我的妹妹，我的新娘，你是緊鎖的園子，封閉的井，隱藏的泉源。你好像一個美麗的果園，結滿了石榴和各種上好的果子，也有鳳仙花、哪噠樹、哪噠和番紅花、菖蒲和肉桂、沒藥和沉香，以及一切上好的香料。你是園中的甘泉，是活水的井，是從黎巴嫩流下來的溪水。

羅得舉目眺望，看見整個約旦河平原，遠至瑣珥，水源充足。在耶和華還沒有毀滅所多瑪和蛾摩拉之前，那地方就好像耶和華的伊甸園，又像埃及。

我要在曠野栽香柏樹、皂莢樹、番石榴樹和橄欖樹。我要在沙漠種松樹、杉樹和黃楊樹。
