God met with him there. Balaam said,“ I’ve prepared seven altars. On each altar I’ve offered a bull and a ram.”

上帝果然向巴兰显现。巴兰对上帝说：“我已经预备了七座祭坛，每座祭坛上献了一头公牛和一只公绵羊。”

上帝迎見巴蘭；巴蘭對上帝說：『我已經擺好了七座祭壇，在每座祭壇獻上一隻公牛、一隻公綿羊。』

God met with him, and Balaam said,“ I have prepared seven altars, and on each altar I have offered a bull and a ram.”

and God met Balaam. And Balaam said to him,“ I have arranged the seven altars and I have offered on each altar a bull and a ram.”

and God met him there. Balaam said to him,“ I have prepared seven altars and have sacrificed a young bull and a ram on each altar.”

God met with him and Balaam said to him,“ I have arranged seven altars and offered a bull and a ram on each altar.”

Now God met with Balaam, and he said to Him,“ I have set up the seven altars, and I have offered up a bull and a ram on each altar.”

And God met Balaam, and he said to Him,“ I have prepared the seven altars, and I have offered on each altar a bull and a ram.”

And God met Balaam: and he said unto him, I have prepared the seven altars, and I have offered up a bullock and a ram on every altar.

God met with him and Balaam said to Him,“ I have arranged seven altars and offered a bull and a ram on each altar.”

And God met Balaam: and he said unto him, I have prepared seven altars, and I have offered upon[ every] altar a bullock and a ram.

Then God met Balaam, who said to him,“ I have prepared seven altars, and I have offered on each altar a bull and a ram.”

God met Balaam, and he said to him,“ I have prepared the seven altars, and I have offered up a bull and a ram on every altar.”

The Lord met with Balaam. He put a message in Balaam’s mouth. The Lord said,“ Go back to Balak. Give him my message.”

Balaam said to Balak,“ Build me seven altars here. Prepare seven bulls and seven rams for me to sacrifice.”

You will be thrown out of the synagogue. In fact, the time is coming when someone may kill you. And they will think they are doing God a favor.

‘ These people who were hired last worked only one hour,’ they said.‘ You have paid them the same as us. We have done most of the work and have been in the hot sun all day.’

‘ We have gone without food,’ they say.‘ Why haven’t you noticed it? We have made ourselves suffer. Why haven’t you paid any attention to us?’“ On the day when you fast, you do as you please. You take advantage of all your workers.When you fast, it ends in arguing and fighting. You hit one another with your fists. That is an evil thing to do. The way you are now fasting keeps your prayers from being heard in heaven.

So who can brag? No one! Are people saved by the law that requires them to obey? Not at all! They are saved because of the law that requires faith.

That night God came to Balaam. He said,“ These men have come to get you. So go with them. But do only what I tell you to do.”

God came to Balaam. He asked,“ Who are these men with you?”

It is not based on anything you have done. No one can brag about earning it.

I fast twice a week. And I give a tenth of all I get.’
