斯民之興也如牝獅、其動也如牡獅、未食被攫之物、不飲見殺之血、則不偃臥、○

The people rise like a lioness; they rouse themselves like a lion that does not rest till it devours its prey and drinks the blood of its victims.”

The Israelites are going to wake up like a female lion. They are going to get up like a male lion. They are like a lion that won’t rest until it eats what it has caught. They are like a lion that won’t rest until it drinks the blood of what it has killed.”

Behold, a people! As a lioness it rises up and as a lion it lifts itself; it does not lie down until it has devoured the prey and drunk the blood of the slain.”

These people rise up like a lioness, like a majestic lion rousing itself. They refuse to rest until they have feasted on prey, drinking the blood of the slaughtered!”

猶大是個小獅子；我兒啊，你抓了食便上去。你屈下身去，臥如公獅，蹲如母獅，誰敢惹你？

便雅憫是個撕掠的狼，早晨要吃他所抓的，晚上要分他所奪的。」

論迦得說：使迦得擴張的應當稱頌！迦得住如母獅；他撕裂膀臂，連頭頂也撕裂。

當那列王在位的時候，天上的神必另立一國，永不敗壞，也不歸別國的人，卻要打碎滅絕那一切國，這國必存到永遠。

耶和華對我如此說：獅子和少壯獅子護食咆哮，就是喊許多牧人來攻擊牠，牠總不因他們的聲音驚惶，也不因他們的喧嘩縮伏。如此，萬軍之耶和華也必降臨在錫安山岡上爭戰。

雅各餘剩的人必在多國多民中，如林間百獸中的獅子，又如少壯獅子在羊羣中。他若經過就必踐踏撕裂，無人搭救。願你的手舉起，高過敵人！願你的仇敵都被剪除！

長老中有一位對我說：「不要哭！看哪，猶大支派中的獅子，大衛的根，他已得勝，能以展開那書卷，揭開那七印。」

獅子的洞和少壯獅子餵養之處在哪裏呢？公獅母獅小獅遊行、無人驚嚇之地在哪裏呢？

神領他出埃及；他似乎有野牛之力。他要吞吃敵國，折斷他們的骨頭，用箭射透他們。他蹲如公獅，臥如母獅，誰敢惹他？凡給你祝福的，願他蒙福；凡咒詛你的，願他受咒詛。

「那日，我必使猶大的族長如火盆在木柴中，又如火把在禾捆裏；他們必左右燒滅四圍列國的民。耶路撒冷人必仍住本處，就是耶路撒冷。

房角石、釘子、爭戰的弓，和一切掌權的都從他而出。他們必如勇士在陣上將仇敵踐踏在街上的泥土中。他們必爭戰，因為耶和華與他們同在；騎馬的也必羞愧。

我看他卻不在現時；我望他卻不在近日。有星要出於雅各，有杖要興於以色列，必打破摩押的四角，毀壞擾亂之子。

就是獅子－乃百獸中最為猛烈、無所躲避的，

獅子吼叫，誰不懼怕呢？主耶和華發命，誰能不說預言呢？

我觀看，見天開了。有一匹白馬，騎在馬上的稱為誠信真實，他審判，爭戰，都按着公義。他的眼睛如火焰，他頭上戴着許多冠冕；又有寫着的名字，除了他自己沒有人知道。他穿着濺了血的衣服；他的名稱為神之道。在天上的眾軍騎着白馬，穿着細麻衣，又白又潔，跟隨他。有利劍從他口中出來，可以擊殺列國。他必用鐵杖轄管他們，並要踹全能神烈怒的酒醡。在他衣服和大腿上有名寫着說：「萬王之王，萬主之主。」我又看見一位天使站在日頭中，向天空所飛的鳥大聲喊着說：「你們聚集來赴神的大筵席，可以吃君王與將軍的肉，壯士與馬和騎馬者的肉，並一切自主的為奴的，以及大小人民的肉。」我看見那獸和地上的君王，並他們的眾軍都聚集，要與騎白馬的並他的軍兵爭戰。那獸被擒拿；那在獸面前曾行奇事、迷惑受獸印記和拜獸像之人的假先知，也與獸同被擒拿。他們兩個就活活地被扔在燒着硫磺的火湖裏；其餘的被騎白馬者口中出來的劍殺了；飛鳥都吃飽了他們的肉。

他像獅子急要抓食，又像少壯獅子蹲伏在暗處。
