欲攻雅各、法術無益、欲攻以色列、卜筮不利、當此時論雅各及以色列、可云天主所行之事、何其大歟、或作天主所行傳於雅各傳於以色列

There is no divination against Jacob, no evil omens against Israel. It will now be said of Jacob and of Israel,‘ See what God has done!’

There isn’t any magic that can hurt the people of Jacob. No one can use magic words to harm Israel. Here is what will be said about the people of Jacob. Here is what will be said about Israel. People will say,‘ See what God has done!’

No curse can touch Jacob; no magic has any power against Israel. For now it will be said of Jacob,‘ What wonders God has done for Israel!’

There is no magic curse against Jacob and no divination against Israel. It will now be said about Jacob and Israel,“ What great things God has done!”

For there is no magic curse against Jacob, Nor is there any divination against Israel; At the proper time it shall be said to Jacob And to Israel, what God has done!

“ For there is no sorcery against Jacob, Nor any divination against Israel. It now must be said of Jacob And of Israel,‘ Oh, what God has done!’

Surely there is no enchantment with Jacob; Neither is there any divination with Israel: Now shalt it be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!

There is no magic curse against Jacob and no divination against Israel. It will now be said about Jacob and Israel,“ What great things God has done!”

Surely[ there is] no enchantment against Jacob, neither[ is there] any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!

For there is no spell against Jacob, nor is there any divination against Israel. At this time it must be said of Jacob and of Israel,‘ Look at what God has done!’

And he said to them,“ I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven.Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.

Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy; then they said among the nations,“ The Lord has done great things for them.”The Lord has done great things for us; we are glad.

And if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons cast them out? Therefore they will be your judges.

When Balaam saw that it pleased the Lord to bless Israel, he did not go, as at other times, to look for omens, but set his face toward the wilderness.

For I brought you up from the land of Egypt and redeemed you from the house of slavery, and I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.O my people, remember what Balak king of Moab devised, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him, and what happened from Shittim to Gilgal, that you may know the righteous acts of the Lord.”

Balaam also, the son of Beor, the one who practiced divination, was killed with the sword by the people of Israel among the rest of their slain.

Come now, curse this people for me, since they are too mighty for me. Perhaps I shall be able to defeat them and drive them from the land, for I know that he whom you bless is blessed, and he whom you curse is cursed.”So the elders of Moab and the elders of Midian departed with the fees for divination in their hand. And they came to Balaam and gave him Balak’s message.

Then all mankind fears; they tell what God has brought about and ponder what he has done.

Knowing their thoughts, he said to them,“ Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and no city or house divided against itself will stand.

As in the days when you came out of the land of Egypt, I will show them marvelous things.

And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

And now, O Lord our God, who brought your people out of the land of Egypt with a mighty hand, and have made a name for yourself, as at this day, we have sinned, we have done wickedly.

And more than ever believers were added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women,

So the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered the Council and said,“ What are we to do? For this man performs many signs.

And all the assembly fell silent, and they listened to Barnabas and Paul as they related what signs and wonders God had done through them among the Gentiles.

They only were hearing it said,“ He who used to persecute us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.”And they glorified God because of me.

And the great dragon was thrown down, that ancient serpent, who is called the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world— he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

For not only has the word of the Lord sounded forth from you in Macedonia and Achaia, but your faith in God has gone forth everywhere, so that we need not say anything.For they themselves report concerning us the kind of reception we had among you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God,

Who has performed and done this, calling the generations from the beginning? I, the Lord, the first, and with the last; I am he.

saying,“ What shall we do with these men? For that a notable sign has been performed through them is evident to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and we cannot deny it.

In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them; in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; he lifted them up and carried them all the days of old.But they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit; therefore he turned to be their enemy, and himself fought against them.Then he remembered the days of old, of Moses and his people. Where is he who brought them up out of the sea with the shepherds of his flock? Where is he who put in the midst of them his Holy Spirit,who caused his glorious arm to go at the right hand of Moses, who divided the waters before them to make for himself an everlasting name,

how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.

Now many signs and wonders were regularly done among the people by the hands of the apostles. And they were all together in Solomon’s Portico.

to him who divided the Red Sea in two, for his steadfast love endures forever;and made Israel pass through the midst of it, for his steadfast love endures forever;but overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red Sea, for his steadfast love endures forever;to him who led his people through the wilderness, for his steadfast love endures forever;to him who struck down great kings, for his steadfast love endures forever;and killed mighty kings, for his steadfast love endures forever;Sihon, king of the Amorites, for his steadfast love endures forever;and Og, king of Bashan, for his steadfast love endures forever;

Oh, how abundant is your goodness, which you have stored up for those who fear you and worked for those who take refuge in you, in the sight of the children of mankind!

O God, we have heard with our ears, our fathers have told us, what deeds you performed in their days, in the days of old:you with your own hand drove out the nations, but them you planted; you afflicted the peoples, but them you set free;for not by their own sword did they win the land, nor did their own arm save them, but your right hand and your arm, and the light of your face, for you delighted in them.

I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.”
