巴勒对巴兰说：“我不是急急地打发人到你那里去召你吗？你为何不到我这里来呢？我岂不能使你得尊荣吗？”

巴勒对巴兰说：“上次派人请你，你为何不肯来？难道我不能给你重赏吗？”

巴勒对巴兰说：“我不是急切地派人到你那里去请你吗？你为什么不到我这里来呢？难道我不能使你得尊荣吗？”

巴勒對巴蘭說：「我不是急急地打發人到你那裏去召你嗎？你為何不到我這裏來呢？我豈不能使你得尊榮嗎？」

巴勒對巴蘭說：「我不是急切地派人到你那裏去召你嗎？你為何不到我這裏來呢？我豈不能使你得尊榮嗎？」

巴勒對巴蘭說：「我不是急切地派人到你那裏去召你嗎？你為何不到我這裏來呢？我豈不能使你得尊榮嗎？」

巴勒對巴蘭說：「上次派人請你，你為何不肯來？難道我不能給你重賞嗎？」

巴勒對巴蘭說：“我不是急切地派人到你那裡去請你嗎？你為甚麼不到我這裡來呢？難道我不能使你得尊榮嗎？”

巴勒對巴蘭說：『我不是迫切打發人到你那裏去請你麼？為甚麼你不到我這裏來呢？難道我果真不能使你得榮顯麼？』

巴勒謂巴蘭曰、我非特遣使召爾乎、爾曷不至、我豈不能舉爾致尊顯乎、

巴勒謂巴蘭曰、我遣使召爾、爾曷不至、我豈不能以尊顯加爾。

巴勒謂巴蘭曰、我遣使召爾、爾何不至、我豈不能尊榮爾乎、

Balak said to Balaam,“ Did I not send you an urgent summons? Why didn’t you come to me? Am I really not able to reward you?”

Balak said to Balaam,“ Didn’t I send messengers to you? I wanted you to come quickly. So why didn’t you come? I can make you very rich.”

And Balak said to Balaam,“ Did I not send to you to call you? Why did you not come to me? Am I not able to honor you?”

“ Didn’t I send you an urgent invitation? Why didn’t you come right away?” Balak asked Balaam.“ Didn’t you believe me when I said I would reward you richly?”

Balak asked Balaam,“ Did I not send you an urgent summons? Why didn’t you come to me? Am I really not able to reward you?”

Then Balak said to Balaam,“ Did I not urgently send word to you to call for you? Why did you not come to me? Am I really unable to honor you?”

Then Balak said to Balaam,“ Did I not earnestly send to you, calling for you? Why did you not come to me? Am I not able to honor you?”

And Balak said unto Balaam, Did I not earnestly send unto thee to call thee? wherefore camest thou not unto me? am I not able indeed to promote thee to honor?

Balak asked Balaam,“ Did I not send you an urgent summons? Why didn’t you come to me? Am I really not able to reward you?”

And Balak said unto Balaam, Did I not earnestly send unto thee to call thee? wherefore camest thou not unto me? am I not able indeed to promote thee to honour?

Balak said to Balaam,“ Did I not send again and again to you to summon you? Why did you not come to me? Am I not able to honor you?”

Balak said to Balaam,“ Didn’t I earnestly send for you to summon you? Why didn’t you come to me? Am I not able indeed to promote you to honor?”

Now leave at once and go home! I said I would reward you handsomely, but the Lord has kept you from being rewarded.” (niv)

They came to Balaam and said:“ This is what Balak son of Zippor says: Do not let anything keep you from coming to me,because I will reward you handsomely and do whatever you say. Come and put a curse on these people for me.” (niv)

Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor.“ All this I will give you,” he said,“ if you will bow down and worship me.” (niv)

How can you believe since you accept glory from one another but do not seek the glory that comes from the only God? (niv)

No one from the east or the west or from the desert can exalt themselves. (niv)

And he said to him,“ I will give you all their authority and splendor; it has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want to. (niv)
