耶和华开了驴的口，驴就对巴兰说：“我向你作了什么，你竟打我这三次呢？”

永恆主開了驢的口，驢就對巴蘭說：『我到底作了甚麼觸犯着你，你竟擊打了我這三次呢？』

耶和華使驢啟口、謂巴蘭曰、我於爾何為、致爾策我者三、

耶和華使驢作人言、謂巴蘭曰、我無所獲罪於爾、爾乃策我者三、

主使驢作人言、謂巴蘭曰、我何所獲罪於爾、爾乃策我三次、

Then the Lord opened the donkey’s mouth, and it said to Balaam,“ What have I done to you to make you beat me these three times?”

Then the Lord opened the donkey’s mouth. It said to Balaam,“ What have I done to you? Why did you hit me these three times?”

Then the Lord opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam,“ What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?”

Then the Lord gave the donkey the ability to speak.“ What have I done to you that deserves your beating me three times?” it asked Balaam.

Then the LORD opened the donkey’s mouth, and she asked Balaam,“ What have I done to you that you have beaten me these three times?”

Then the Lord opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam,“ What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?”

Then the Lord opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam,“ What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?”

And Jehovah opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times?

Then the Lord opened the donkey’s mouth, and she asked Balaam,“ What have I done to you that you have beaten me these three times?”

And the LORD opened the mouth of the ass, and she said unto Balaam, What have I done unto thee, that thou hast smitten me these three times?

Then the LORD opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam,“ What have I done to you that you have beaten me these three times?”

Yahweh opened the mouth of the donkey, and she said to Balaam,“ What have I done to you, that you have struck me these three times?”

But he was rebuked for his wrongdoing by a donkey— an animal without speech— who spoke with a human voice and restrained the prophet’s madness. (niv)

For no word from God will ever fail.” (niv)

We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. (niv)

The Lord said to him,“ Who gave human beings their mouths? Who makes them deaf or mute? Who gives them sight or makes them blind? Is it not I, the Lord? (niv)

For it is written:“ I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.” (niv)
