因为在寻的旷野，会众争闹的时候，你们违背了我的命令，没有在涌水之地，在会众眼前尊我为圣。”这涌水之地在寻的旷野，就是加低斯的米利巴水。

云彩从会幕上离开，米利暗就长了大痲风，像雪那样白；亚伦转身过来看米利暗，见她长了大痲风。

自从我们离开加低斯．巴尼亚，直到过了撒烈溪的日子，共有三十八年，等到那世代的战士都从营中灭绝为止，正像耶和华向他们所起的誓一样。

你们众人都走到我这里来，说：‘我们要先派些人去，替我们窥探那地，然后把我们上去该走哪一条路，该进哪些城，向我们回报。’这话我很同意，就从你们中间选了十二个人，每支派一人。

因为你们在寻的旷野，在加低斯米利巴水边，在以色列人中间悖逆我，在以色列人中间没有尊我为圣。

孩子的姊姊远远地站着，要知道孩子究竟怎样。

孩子的姊姊对法老的女儿说：“我去从希伯来妇人中给你请一个奶妈来，为你乳养这个孩子可以吗？”

我曾经把你从埃及地领上来，把你从为奴之家赎出来；我也差派了摩西、亚伦和米利暗在你前面行。

于是米利暗被关在营外七天；人民没有启程，直到把米利暗接回来。

我们向耶和华呼求，他就听了我们的声音，派使者把我们从埃及领出来；现在我们就在你边界上的城加低斯。

耶和华的声音震撼旷野，耶和华震撼加低斯的旷野。
