So the Israelites did everything the Lord commanded Moses; that is the way they encamped under their standards, and that is the way they set out, each of them with their clan and family.

舉目見以色列人循其支派列營屯居、遂感於天主之神、

雅各乎、爾幕何其美、以色列乎、爾居何其麗、布列如平原、如河濱之園囿、如主栽之沈香、如水旁柏香木、

以色列人列營、當各歸本纛、各歸本支派之旗號、於會幕四圍相向列營、

未見雅各有愆尤、未見以色列有罪戾、其天主耶和華偕之、其中有王、因歡聲而呼、

我仰觀主之一切誡命、必不至於羞愧、

我視之自山巔、觀之由高峰、此民獨處、不列於萬族中、雅各族多如塵沙、孰能計之、以色列四分之一、誰能數之、我願如善人之死而死、我願如善人之終而終、

於是以色列人遵主凡命摩西者而行、

以色列人俱依此次序、循其軍旅而啟行、○
