神啊，你必使惡人墜入滅亡的坑；那好流人血、行詭詐的人必活不過半生，但我要倚靠你。

求你不容波濤漫過我，不容深淵吞滅我，不容深坑在我以上合口。

耶和華啊，求你速速應允我！我的心神耗盡！求你不要轉臉不顧我，免得我像那些下入地府的人一樣。

「人子啊，你要為埃及的軍隊哀號，把他們和強盛之國一同扔到地底下，與那些下到地府的人在一起。

下面的陰間因你震動，迎接你的到來；在世曾為領袖的陰魂為你驚動，那曾為列國君王的，都從寶座起立。

「在那裏有北方的眾王子和所有的西頓人，全都與被殺的人一同下去。他們雖然英勇，使人驚恐，還是蒙羞。他們未受割禮，和被刀所殺的人躺在一起，與下到地府的人一同擔當羞辱。

然而，你必墜落陰間，到地府極深之處。
