爾尸必僵於斯野、爾中見核而怨我者、自二十歲以上、

爾出言怨我、故所見核者、自二十歲以上、俱暴骨於野、

爾曹怨我、故凡爾見數者、自二十歲以上、屍骸俱仆於曠野、

In this wilderness your bodies will fall— every one of you twenty years old or more who was counted in the census and who has grumbled against me.

You will die in this desert. Every one of you 20 years old or more will die. Every one of you who was counted in the list of the people will die. Every one of you who has spoken out against me will be wiped out.

your dead bodies shall fall in this wilderness, and of all your number, listed in the census from twenty years old and upward, who have grumbled against me,

You will all drop dead in this wilderness! Because you complained against me, every one of you who is twenty years old or older and was included in the registration will die.

Your corpses will fall in this wilderness— all of you who were registered in the census, the entire number of you twenty years old or more— because you have complained about me.

All the Israelites twenty years old or more who were able to serve in Israel’s army were counted according to their families. (niv)

And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies perished in the wilderness? (niv)

Not one of them was among those counted by Moses and Aaron the priest when they counted the Israelites in the Desert of Sinai. (niv)

Nevertheless, God was not pleased with most of them; their bodies were scattered in the wilderness. (niv)

But as for you, your bodies will fall in this wilderness.Your children will be shepherds here for forty years, suffering for your unfaithfulness, until the last of your bodies lies in the wilderness. (niv)

Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord at one time delivered his people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe. (niv)
