Moses heard the people of every family wailing at the entrance to their tents. The Lord became exceedingly angry, and Moses was troubled.

他們在自己的帳篷中發怨言，不聽耶和華的聲音；

因此，耶和華的怒氣向他的子民發作，他伸出手對付他們、擊打他們，群山就顫抖；他們橫屍街頭，如汙穢之物。即使如此，耶和華的怒氣還不轉消，他的手仍然伸出。

耶穌憤怒地環視他們，又為他們心裡剛硬而憂傷，就對那個人說：「伸出手來！」他一伸出來，手就復原了。

神聽了就動怒，極其厭棄以色列。

耶和華啊，難道我不恨那些恨你的人嗎？難道我不厭惡那些起來敵對你的人嗎？

耶和華聽了就動怒，烈火向雅各燃起，怒氣也向以色列上騰；

他們又在米利巴的水邊惹神發怒，以致摩西也因他們的緣故受了虧損；因為他們悖逆了神的靈，摩西的嘴就說了輕率的話。

耶穌看見了就很不滿，對門徒們說：「讓小孩子到我這裡來，不要阻止他們，因為神的國正屬於這樣的人。
