Then Moses said to Hobab the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father in law,“ We are setting out to the place of which the Lord said,‘ I will give it to you.’ Come with us and we will do you good, for the Lord has promised good concerning Israel.”

摩西对自己的岳父米甸人流珥的儿子何巴说：“我们要起行到耶和华应许的地方去，他曾说：‘我要把那地赐给你们’，现在求你与我们同去，我们必善待你，因为耶和华对以色列已经应许福乐。”

摩西謂其妻兄妻兄或作外舅米甸人流珥子何巴伯曰、我儕往主所許賜我之地、求爾與我偕往、我儕必厚待爾、因主曾許賜恩於以色列人、

Now Moses said to Hobab son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law,“ We are setting out for the place about which the Lord said,‘ I will give it to you.’ Come with us and we will treat you well, for the Lord has promised good things to Israel.”

Moses spoke to Hobab, the son of Reuel. Reuel was Moses’ father- in- law. Reuel was from Midian. Moses said to Hobab,“ We’re starting out for the place the Lord promised to us. He said to us,‘ I will give it to you.’ So come with us. We’ll treat you well. The Lord has promised to give good things to Israel.”

And Moses said to Hobab the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law,“ We are setting out for the place of which the Lord said,‘ I will give it to you.’ Come with us, and we will do good to you, for the Lord has promised good to Israel.”

One day Moses said to his brother in law, Hobab son of Reuel the Midianite,“ We are on our way to the place the Lord promised us, for he said,‘ I will give it to you.’ Come with us and we will treat you well, for the Lord has promised wonderful blessings for Israel!”

Moses said to Hobab, descendant of Reuel the Midianite and Moses’s relative by marriage,“ We’re setting out for the place the LORD promised,‘ I will give it to you.’ Come with us, and we will treat you well, for the LORD has promised good things to Israel.”

Now Moses said to Hobab the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law,“ We are setting out for the place of which the Lord said,‘ I will give it to you.’ Come with us, and we will treat you well; for the Lord has promised good things to Israel.”

And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father- in- law, We are journeying unto the place of which Jehovah said, I will give it you: come thou with us, and we will do thee good; for Jehovah hath spoken good concerning Israel.

Moses said to Hobab, son of Moses’ father-in-law Reuel the Midianite:“ We’re setting out for the place the Lord promised:‘ I will give it to you.’ Come with us, and we will treat you well, for the Lord has promised good things to Israel.”

And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses’ father in law, We are journeying unto the place of which the LORD said, I will give it you: come thou with us, and we will do thee good: for the LORD hath spoken good concerning Israel.

Moses said to Hobab son of Reuel, the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law,“ We are journeying to the place about which the LORD said,‘ I will give it to you.’ Come with us and we will treat you well, for the LORD has promised good things for Israel.”

Moses said to Hobab, the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father- in- law,“ We are journeying to the place of which Yahweh said,‘ I will give it to you.’ Come with us, and we will treat you well; for Yahweh has spoken good concerning Israel.”

And the Lord appeared to Abram and said,“ To your descendants I will give this land.” So he built an altar there to the Lord who had appeared to him.

Now Heber the Kenite had separated himself from the Kenites, from the sons of Hobab the father in law of Moses, and had pitched his tent as far away as the oak in Zaanannim, which is near Kedesh.

Now Moses was pasturing the flock of his father in law Jethro, the priest of Midian; and he led the flock to the west side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.

When they came to their father Reuel, he said,“ Why have you come back so soon today?”

Then I will take you as My people, and I will be your God; and you shall know that I am the Lord your God, who brought you out from under the labors of the Egyptians.I will bring you to the land which I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and I will give it to you as a possession; I am the Lord.’ ”

So I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and spacious land, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanite, the Hittite, the Amorite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite.

For You said,‘ I will assuredly make you prosper and make your descendants as the sand of the sea, which is too great to be counted.’ ”

in the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised long ages ago,

The inhabitants of one city will go to another, saying,“ Let’s go at once to plead for the favor of the Lord, and to seek the Lord of armies; I also will go.”So many peoples and mighty nations will come to seek the Lord of armies in Jerusalem, and to plead for the favor of the Lord.’The Lord of armies says this:‘ In those days ten people from all the nations will grasp the garment of a Jew, saying,“ Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.” ’ ”

On that day the Lord made a covenant with Abram, saying,“ To your descendants I have given this land, From the river of Egypt as far as the great river, the river Euphrates:

so that by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have taken refuge would have strong encouragement to hold firmly to the hope set before us.

for all the land which you see I will give to you and to your descendants forever.

Then Moses said goodbye to his father in law, and Jethro went his way to his own land.

They will ask for the way to Zion, turning their faces in its direction; they will come so that they may join themselves to the Lord in an everlasting covenant that will not be forgotten.

And many peoples will come and say,“ Come, let’s go up to the mountain of the Lord, To the house of the God of Jacob; So that He may teach us about His ways, And that we may walk in His paths.” For the law will go out from Zion And the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.

Now the descendants of the Kenite, Moses’ father in law, went up from the city of palms with the sons of Judah, to the wilderness of Judah which is in the south of Arad; and they went and lived with the people.

Taste and see that the Lord is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!

But He gave him no inheritance in it, not even a foot of ground, and yet, He promised that He would give it to him as a possession, and to his descendants after him, even though he had no child.

But Saul said to the Kenites,“ Go, get away, go down from among the Amalekites, so that I do not destroy you along with them; for you showed kindness to all the sons of Israel when they went up from Egypt.” So the Kenites got away from among the Amalekites.

Now Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses’ father in law, heard about everything that God had done for Moses and for Israel His people, how the Lord had brought Israel out of Egypt.

God is not a man, that He would lie, Nor a son of man, that He would change His mind; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

The Spirit and the bride say,“ Come.” And let the one who hears say,“ Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires, take the water of life without cost.
