Howbeit thou art just in all that is come upon us; for thou hast dealt truly, but we have done wickedly;

In all that has happened to us, you have remained righteous; you have acted faithfully, while we acted wickedly.

In spite of everything that has happened to us, you have been fair. You have been faithful in what you have done. But we did what was evil.

Yet you have been righteous in all that has come upon us, for you have dealt faithfully and we have acted wickedly.

Every time you punished us you were being just. We have sinned greatly, and you gave us only what we deserved.

You are righteous concerning all that has happened to us, because you have acted faithfully, while we have acted wickedly.

However, You are righteous in everything that has happened to us; For You have dealt faithfully, but we have acted wickedly.

However You are just in all that has befallen us; For You have dealt faithfully, But we have done wickedly.

Howbeit thou[ art] just in all that is brought upon us; for thou hast done right, but we have done wickedly:

You are righteous with regard to all that has happened to us, for you have acted faithfully. It is we who have been in the wrong!

However you are just in all that has come on us; for you have dealt truly, but we have done wickedly.

That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked, that so the righteous should be as the wicked; that be far from thee: shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?

We have sinned with our fathers, We have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.

Righteous art thou, O Jehovah, when I contend with thee; yet would I reason the cause with thee: wherefore doth the way of the wicked prosper? wherefore are all they at ease that deal very treacherously?

For he needeth not further to consider a man, That he should go before God in judgment.

Jehovah is righteous; for I have rebelled against his commandment: Hear, I pray you, all ye peoples, and behold my sorrow: My virgins and my young men are gone into captivity.

we have sinned, and have dealt perversely, and have done wickedly, and have rebelled, even turning aside from thy precepts and from thine ordinances;neither have we hearkened unto thy servants the prophets, that spake in thy name to our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.O Lord, righteousness belongeth unto thee, but unto us confusion of face, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither thou hast driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against thee.O Lord, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes, and to our fathers, because we have sinned against thee.To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgiveness; for we have rebelled against him;neither have we obeyed the voice of Jehovah our God, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even turning aside, that they should not obey thy voice: therefore hath the curse been poured out upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God; for we have sinned against him.And he hath confirmed his words, which he spake against us, and against our judges that judged us, by bringing upon us a great evil; for under the whole heaven hath not been done as hath been done upon Jerusalem.As it is written in the law of Moses, all this evil is come upon us: yet have we not entreated the favor of Jehovah our God, that we should turn from our iniquities, and have discernment in thy truth.Therefore hath Jehovah watched over the evil, and brought it upon us; for Jehovah our God is righteous in all his works which he doeth, and we have not obeyed his voice.

Righteous art thou, O Jehovah, And upright are thy judgments.

And they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, in their trespass which they trespassed against me, and also that, because they walked contrary unto me,I also walked contrary unto them, and brought them into the land of their enemies: if then their uncircumcised heart be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity;

He singeth before men, and saith, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, And it profited me not:

Jehovah is righteous in all his ways, And gracious in all his works.
