爾以邦國四境、分賜於民、遂據西宏之地、乃希實本王之國、巴山王噩之邦、

“ You gave them kingdoms and nations, allotting to them even the remotest frontiers. They took over the country of Sihon king of Heshbon and the country of Og king of Bashan.

“ You gave them kingdoms and nations. You even gave them lands far away. They took over the country of Sihon. He was the king of Heshbon. They also took over the country of Og. He was the king of Bashan.

“ And you gave them kingdoms and peoples and allotted to them every corner. So they took possession of the land of Sihon king of Heshbon and the land of Og king of Bashan.

“ Then you helped our ancestors conquer kingdoms and nations, and you placed your people in every corner of the land. They took over the land of King Sihon of Heshbon and the land of King Og of Bashan.

You gave them kingdoms and peoples and established boundaries for them. They took possession of the land of King Sihon of Heshbon and of the land of King Og of Bashan.

You also gave them kingdoms and peoples, And allotted them to them as a boundary. They took possession of the land of Sihon the king of Heshbon And the land of Og the king of Bashan.

“ Moreover You gave them kingdoms and nations, And divided them into districts. So they took possession of the land of Sihon, The land of the king of Heshbon, And the land of Og king of Bashan.

Moreover thou gavest them kingdoms and peoples, which thou didst allot after their portions: so they possessed the land of Sihon, even the land of the king of Heshbon, and the land of Og king of Bashan.

You gave them kingdoms and peoples and assigned them to be a boundary. They took possession of the land of Sihon king of Heshbon and of the land of Og king of Bashan.

Moreover thou gavest them kingdoms and nations, and didst divide them into corners: so they possessed the land of Sihon, and the land of the king of Heshbon, and the land of Og king of Bashan.

“ You gave them kingdoms and peoples, and you allocated them to every corner of the land. They inherited the land of King Sihon of Heshbon and the land of King Og of Bashan.

Moreover you gave them kingdoms and peoples, which you allotted according to their portions. So they possessed the land of Sihon, even the land of the king of Heshbon, and the land of Og king of Bashan.

以色列族遣使至亞摩哩王、西宏、曰、容我假途於爾地、我不入田園、不飲井水、必由大道而行、以出爾境。西宏不許、乃集厥民、往於曠野、至雅哈斯、與以色列族戰。以色列族擊之、據有其地、自亞嫩至雅泊溪、即亞捫族之地、蓋亞捫族地甚為險固。亞摩哩人之邑希實本、及其四周之鄉里、以色列族悉取之、居處其中。昔亞摩哩王西宏與摩押先王戰、徧取斯地、至亞嫩溪、希實本乃其都也。詩人詠之曰、希實本可復建、西宏邑可重新、越在疇昔、火自希實本、焰自西宏邑、摩押之亞耳因之悉燬、亞嫩之崇邱、藉以復得。摩押有禍乎、基抹其危哉、厥子遁逃、厥女見攘、俱亞摩哩王西宏所為也。我已射之、希實本危亡、爰及底本、我已滅之、至於挪法、近米底巴。○於是以色列族居亞摩哩人之地。摩西遣人偵伺雅設、遂破其鄉、亞摩哩人悉被驅逐。以色列族反旆、往巴山道、巴山王噩、率眾至以得來、與之戰。耶和華諭摩西曰、毋畏、我將是王、以及土地人民、咸畀於爾、汝可滅之、如都希實本之亞摩哩王西宏然。於是擊王、戮其子、攻其民、靡有孑遺、盡得其地。

時在基底莫野、我遣人至希實本、以善言告其王西宏曰、爾盍容我經爾地、我必由大道、不偏於左、不偏於右、我所食之糧、所飲之水、市之以金、第容我徒行、以過爾境、渡約但河、至我上帝耶和華賜我之地。昔以掃後裔、居於西耳、摩押人民、居於亞耳、所行俱亦如是。時我上帝耶和華聽希實本王西宏剛愎厥心、不容我過其地、為我所敗、以今日之事為證。蓋耶和華曾諭我曰、我以西宏及其地、畀於爾手、汝可得之、據有其地。西宏率眾而出、至雅哈斯與我戰。我之上帝耶和華、以西宏王、及王子臣民、悉付於我、為我所敗、取其城邑、男女長幼、俱行殲滅、靡有孑遺、邑中之貨財、以及牲畜、為我所得、亞嫩河濱之亞囉耳、及洲中之邑、迄於基列、無邑不服、乃我上帝耶和華盡付於我、

擊有能之君、矜憫恆懷兮、戮盛名之王、矜憫恆懷兮、殺亞摩哩王西宏矜憫恆懷兮、滅巴山王噩、矜憫恆懷兮、以其地為業、矜憫恆懷兮。賜其僕以色列族、矜憫恆懷兮、

敵方逃遁、下伯和倫岡、入亞西加時、耶和華自天降大雹擊敵、傷雹而死、較以色列族以刃殺者尤眾。

擊強國、戮大王兮、亞摩哩王西宏、巴山王噩、及迦南列國之王、亦就戮兮。以其地賜選民以色列族為業兮、

於是約書亞循耶和華所諭摩西之命、取四方之地、賜以色列族為業、循其支派班列、而後息戰。

主勃然興起、如寢者之警醒、如壯夫飲酒而呼呶兮、

我曰、必使之散處四方、而人忘其所自、

我儕旋踵、道由巴山、巴山王噩率眾而出、至以得來與我戰。耶和華告我曰、毋畏、我必以王、及其民人、土地、付於汝手、昔在希實本、滅亞摩哩王西宏、今之待噩、亦必若是。於是我之上帝耶和華、以巴山王噩、及其人民付於我手、為我翦滅、靡有孑遺。亞咯境為巴山王噩所統、邑共六十、悉為所取、無不服從。以上諸邑、俱有高垣、及門與楗、外此更有閭里、其數眾多、我翦滅之、及其男女長幼、如昔滅希實本王西宏然。邑中之貨財、以及牲畜、為我所得。在約但之東、自亞嫩河、及黑門山、亞摩哩二王之地、為我所取、平原諸邑、與基列、巴山四境、至巴山王噩所統之邑、撒迦、以得來、我亦取之、黑門之山、西頓人稱之為西連、亞摩哩人稱之為示溺。

使有異邦、其所經營之地、彼得而享之兮、
