“ And you gave them kingdoms and peoples and allotted to them every corner. So they took possession of the land of Sihon king of Heshbon and the land of Og king of Bashan.

“ Then you helped our ancestors conquer kingdoms and nations, and you placed your people in every corner of the land. They took over the land of King Sihon of Heshbon and the land of King Og of Bashan.

You gave them kingdoms and peoples and established boundaries for them. They took possession of the land of King Sihon of Heshbon and of the land of King Og of Bashan.

“ Moreover You gave them kingdoms and nations, And divided them into districts. So they took possession of the land of Sihon, The land of the king of Heshbon, And the land of Og king of Bashan.

Moreover thou gavest them kingdoms and peoples, which thou didst allot after their portions: so they possessed the land of Sihon, even the land of the king of Heshbon, and the land of Og king of Bashan.

You gave them kingdoms and peoples and assigned them to be a boundary. They took possession of the land of Sihon king of Heshbon and of the land of Og king of Bashan.

Moreover thou gavest them kingdoms and nations, and didst divide them into corners: so they possessed the land of Sihon, and the land of the king of Heshbon, and the land of Og king of Bashan.

“ You gave them kingdoms and peoples, and you allocated them to every corner of the land. They inherited the land of King Sihon of Heshbon and the land of King Og of Bashan.

Moreover you gave them kingdoms and peoples, which you allotted according to their portions. So they possessed the land of Sihon, even the land of the king of Heshbon, and the land of Og king of Bashan.

以色列族遣使詣亞摩利王西宏曰、請容我過爾地、我不偏入田畝、及葡萄園、不飲井水、行由大道、以過爾境、西宏不許、乃集厥民、往於曠野、至雅雜、與以色列族戰、以色列族以刃擊之、據有其地、自亞嫩迄於雅博溪、至亞捫而止、蓋亞捫族之邊境險固、亞摩利人之邑希實本、及其鄉里、以色列族悉取之、居處其中、昔亞摩利王西宏、與摩押先王戰、徧取斯地、至亞嫩溪、希實本乃其都也、詩人詠之曰、希實本、爾其詣之、西宏邑、願建築之、火自希實本而出、焰自西宏邑而發、燬摩押之亞珥、及亞嫩崇邱之牧伯、摩押其有禍兮、基抹之民其將亡兮、厥子遁逃、厥女見攘、為亞摩利王西宏所獲、我已射之、希實本危亡、爰及底本、我已滅之、至於挪法、迄米底巴、○於是以色列族、居亞摩利人之地、摩西遣人窺察雅謝、遂取其鄉里、驅遂亞摩利人、以色列族旋返、往巴珊道、巴珊王噩率眾出而攻之、在以得來與之戰、耶和華諭摩西曰、毋畏之、我以斯王、及其人民土地、咸付爾手、汝待遇之、如都希實本之亞摩利王西宏然、遂擊王、及其子其民、靡有孑遺、據有其地、

摩西曰、我自基底莫野、遣使往見希實本王西宏、以和好之言告之云、請容我經爾地、必由大道、不偏於左、不偏於右、爾受我金、鬻我以糧、給我以水、第容我過爾境、待遇我儕、若居西珥之以掃子孫、居亞珥之摩押人所為、迨我渡約但、至我上帝耶和華賜我之地、乃希實本王西宏、不容我過其境、蓋爾上帝耶和華使其心志頑梗、致付爾手、有如今日、耶和華又諭我曰、我今以西宏及其地、始付於爾、據以為業、西宏率其民眾、出而攻我、戰於雅雜、我上帝耶和華付之於我、我遂擊之、爰及其子與民、取其諸邑、殲滅居民、暨厥婦孺、靡有孑遺、惟彼牲畜、與諸邑之財物、為我所得、自亞嫩谷濱之亞羅珥、及谷中之邑、至於基列、無一崇高之城、不為我所拔者、我上帝耶和華、盡付於我矣、

擊殺強王、以其慈惠永存兮、戮著名之王、以其慈惠永存兮、戮亞摩利王西宏、以其慈惠永存兮、戮巴珊王噩、以其慈惠永存兮、以其地為業、以其慈惠永存兮、賜其僕以色列為業、以其慈惠永存兮、

適敵遁於以色列人前、在伯和崙阪、耶和華自天降大雹擊之、至亞西加、死於雹者、較以色列人以刃殺者尤眾、

擊多國、戮強王、亞摩利王西宏、巴珊王噩、及迦南諸國兮、以其地為業、賜其民以色列兮、

約書亞循耶和華諭摩西之命、取斯全地、以給以色列人為業、依其支派班列、厥後其地息戰、

時主如人由寢而寤、勇士飲酒而呼兮、

我曰、將散之於遠方、絕其誌於人間、

我儕轉由巴珊之道、巴珊王噩、率其民眾咸出、與我戰於以得來、耶和華諭我曰、毋畏之、彼及其民與地、我悉付於爾手、爾待之、如昔待居希實本之亞摩利王西宏然、於是我上帝耶和華、以巴珊王噩及其民、付於我手、我擊之、至無所遺、取其諸邑、無邑不為我儕所得、邑凡六十、乃亞珥歌伯全境、即噩之國巴珊也、諸邑俱有高垣、與門及楗、此外無垣之鄉里甚眾、我滅其邑、殲厥居民、及其婦孺、如昔行於希實本王西宏者然、惟彼牲畜、與邑中財物、為我所得、當時我自約但東、亞摩利二王之手、取其土地、自亞嫩谷、至黑門山、黑門山、西頓人稱為西連、亞摩利人稱為示尼珥、其平原諸邑、基列全地、巴珊全地、以及撒迦與以得來、乃噩之國、巴珊之邑、悉為我取、利乏音族所存者、惟巴珊王噩、其床以鐵為之、長九肘、廣四肘、以人肘為度、今在亞捫人之拉巴邑、時、我儕既得斯土、自亞嫩谷濱之亞羅珥、及基列山之半、與其諸邑、我以之予流便族、迦得族、基列餘地、及噩之國巴珊全地、亞珥歌伯四境、我以之予瑪拿西支派之半、巴珊昔稱為利乏音地、瑪拿西裔睚珥、得亞珥歌伯四境、至基述瑪迦二族之界、依其名、稱巴珊為哈倭特睚珥、以至今日、我以基列予瑪吉、自基列至亞嫩谷、以谷中為界、抵亞捫界之雅博溪、及亞拉巴、沿約但河之地、自基尼列、至亞拉巴之鹽海、並毘斯迦山麓以東之地、悉以予流便族、迦得族、○

賜以列邦之地、異族勞而備者、承之為業兮、
