所以，我们必须越发注意所听见的道，免得我们随流失去。既然那藉着天使所传的话是确定的，凡违背不听从的，都受了该受的报应；我们若忽略这么大的救恩，怎能逃避呢？这拯救起先是主亲自讲的，后来是听见的人给我们证实了。

为此，我们也不断地感谢神，因为你们听见我们所传神的道的时候，你们领受了，不以为这是人的道，而以为这确实是神的道，而且在你们信主的人当中运行着。

这地方的犹太人比帖撒罗尼迦的人开明，热心领受这道，天天查考圣经，要知道这道是否真实。

耶路撒冷的居民和他们的官长，因为不认识这基督，也不明白每安息日所读的先知的书，把他定了死罪，正应验了先知的预言。

耶稣来到拿撒勒，就是他长大的地方。在安息日，照他素常的规矩进了会堂，站起来要念圣经。有人把以赛亚先知的书交给他，他就打开，找到一处写着：“主的灵在我身上，因为他用膏膏我，叫我传福音给贫穷的人；差遣我宣告：被掳的得释放，失明的得看见，受压迫的得自由，宣告神悦纳人的禧年。”于是他把书卷起来，交还给管理人，就坐下。会堂里的人都定睛看他。

但找不出方法来，因为百姓都侧耳听他。

在读完了律法和先知的书，会堂主管们叫人过去，对他们说：“二位弟兄，你们若有什么劝勉众人的话，请说。”

所以，你们应当小心怎样听。因为凡有的，还要给他；凡没有的，连他自以为有的也要夺去。”

他们和保罗约定了日子，就有许多人到他的住处来。保罗从早到晚向他们讲解这事，为神的国作证，并引摩西的律法和先知的书劝导他们信从耶稣。

有一个卖紫色布的妇人，名叫吕底亚，是推雅推喇城的人，素来敬拜神。她在听着，主就开导她的心，使她留心听保罗所讲的话。

大卫亲自称他为主，他怎么又是大卫的后裔呢？”一大群的人都喜欢听他。

因为历代以来，摩西的书在各城都有人宣讲，每逢安息日，也在会堂里诵读。”

耶稣讲完了这些话，众人对他的教导都感到惊奇，因为他教导他们正像有权柄的人，不像他们的文士。

保罗又上楼去，擘饼，吃了，再讲了许久，直到天亮才离开。

七日的第一日，我们聚会擘饼的时候，保罗因次日要起行，就为他们讲道，直讲到半夜。
