所以，我亲爱的弟兄们，你们务要坚固，不可动摇，常常竭力多做主工，因为你们知道，你们在主里的劳苦不是徒然的。

因为我们从来没有用过谄媚的话，这是你们知道的，也没有藏着贪心，这是上帝可以作证的。我们作为基督的使徒，虽然可以受人尊重，却没有向你们或向别人求荣耀，反而在你们当中心存温柔，如同母亲哺乳自己的孩子。

我们行善不可丧志，因为若不灰心，到了适当的时候就有收成。

我未曾贪图一个人的金、银或衣服。你们自己知道，我靠两只手工作来供给我和同工的需用。我凡事给你们作榜样，叫你们知道应当这样劳苦，扶助软弱的人，又当记念主耶稣的话，说：‘施比受更为有福。’”

凡恒心行善，寻求荣耀、尊贵和不能朽坏的，就有永生报偿他们；

那落在好土里的，就是人听了道，并用纯真善良的心持守它，耐心等候结果实。”

摩西非常生气，就对耶和华说：“求你不要接受他们的供物。我并没有夺过他们一匹驴，也没有害过他们中任何一个人。”

罢了，我自己并没有连累你们，你们却有人说，我施诡诈，用心计牢笼你们。我所差遣到你们那里去的人，我何曾藉着他们中的任何人占过你们的便宜呢？我劝提多到你们那里去，又差遣那位弟兄与他同去，提多占过你们的便宜吗？我们的行事为人不是同一心灵吗？不是同一步伐吗？
