我又说：“以色列王所罗门不是在这样的事上犯罪吗？在多国中并没有一王像他，且蒙他神所爱，神立他作以色列全国的王；然而连他也被外邦女子引诱犯罪。

以色列王所罗门不也在这样的事上犯罪吗？在许多国家中并没有一位王像他，蒙他上帝喜爱，上帝立他作王治理全以色列。然而，连他也被外邦女子引诱犯罪。

謂之曰、以色列王所羅門、非因此而犯罪乎、彼在列國中、無王可比、上帝愛之、立為以色列王、然異邦之女誘之干罪、

告之曰、以色列王所羅門、娶於異邦而犯罪、昔所羅門在列國中、無王可比、上帝愛之、使治以色列、然異邦之女、陷之於罪。

謂之曰、昔以色列王所羅門、亦因斯事犯罪、在列國中、無王可比、為其天主所愛、天主立之為以色列王、然異邦之女、誘之獲罪、

Was it not because of marriages like these that Solomon king of Israel sinned? Among the many nations there was no king like him. He was loved by his God, and God made him king over all Israel, but even he was led into sin by foreign women.

That’s how Solomon, the king of Israel, sinned. He married women from other nations. There wasn’t a king like him anywhere. His God loved him. In fact, God made him king over the whole nation of Israel. But even he was led into sin by women from other lands.

Did not Solomon king of Israel sin on account of such women? Among the many nations there was no king like him, and he was beloved by his God, and God made him king over all Israel. Nevertheless, foreign women made even him to sin.

“ Wasn’t this exactly what led King Solomon of Israel into sin?” I demanded.“ There was no king from any nation who could compare to him, and God loved him and made him king over all Israel. But even he was led into sin by his foreign wives.

Didn’t King Solomon of Israel sin in matters like this? There was not a king like him among many nations. He was loved by his God, and God made him king over all Israel, yet foreign women drew him into sin.

Did Solomon the king of Israel not sin regarding these things? Yet among the many nations there was no king like him, and he was loved by his God, and God made him king over all Israel; yet the foreign women caused even him to sin.

你沒有求富貴和尊榮，但我會一併賜給你，使你有生之年在列王中無人能比。

除了埃及公主以外，所羅門王還寵愛許多外邦女子，有摩押人、亞捫人、以東人、西頓人和赫人。耶和華曾告訴以色列人不可跟這些外族人通婚，免得受引誘去隨從他們的神明，所羅門卻迷戀這些女子。他有七百個妻子，都是外國的公主，還有三百個妃嬪。這些女子使他的心背棄耶和華。所羅門年老的時候，他的嬪妃誘惑他的心去追隨別的神明。他沒有像他父親大衛那樣忠心順服他的上帝耶和華。所羅門拜西頓人的女神亞斯她錄和亞捫人的可憎神明米勒公。他做了耶和華視為惡的事，沒有像他父親大衛那樣忠心順服耶和華。在耶路撒冷東面的山上，所羅門为摩押人可憎的神明基抹和亞捫人可憎的神明摩洛修建邱壇。他又為所有的外邦妃嬪修建邱壇，供她們向自己的神明燒香獻祭。

我必賜你智慧和知識，並且我還要賜你空前絕後的富貴、資財和尊榮。」

大衛安慰妻子拔示芭，與她同房，她便生了一個兒子。大衛給孩子取名叫所羅門。耶和華喜愛這孩子，祂差遣拿單先知去賜給他一個名字——耶底底亞，意思是耶和華喜愛他。

我發現有的婦人比死亡更苦毒，她是個陷阱，心如網羅，手像鎖鏈。敬畏上帝的人避開她，罪人卻被她俘虜。

所羅門王的財富和智慧超過天下諸王。
