Then I commanded the Levites to purify themselves and go and guard the gates in order to keep the Sabbath day holy. Remember me for this also, my God, and show mercy to me according to your great love.

I commanded the Levites to make themselves pure. Then I told them to go and guard the gates. I wanted the Sabbath day to be kept holy. You are my God. Remember me because of the good things I’ve done. Be kind to me according to your great love.

Then I commanded the Levites that they should purify themselves and come and guard the gates, to keep the Sabbath day holy. Remember this also in my favor, O my God, and spare me according to the greatness of your steadfast love.

And I commanded the Levites that they should cleanse themselves, and that they should go and guard the gates, to sanctify the Sabbath day. Remember me, O my God, concerning this also, and spare me according to the greatness of Your mercy!

Then I directed the Levites to purify themselves and come and guard the gates in order to keep the Sabbath day holy. For this please remember me, O my God, and have pity on me in keeping with your great love.

I commanded the Levites that they should purify themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the Sabbath day. Remember to me, my God, this also, and spare me according to the greatness of your loving kindness.

When the priests and Levites had purified themselves ceremonially, they purified the people, the gates and the wall. (niv)

Remember me for this, my God, and do not blot out what I have so faithfully done for the house of my God and its services. (niv)

I also made provision for contributions of wood at designated times, and for the firstfruits. Remember me with favor, my God. (niv)

King Hezekiah and his officials ordered the Levites to praise the Lord with the words of David and of Asaph the seer. So they sang praises with gladness and bowed down and worshiped. (niv)

Let the wicked forsake their ways and the unrighteous their thoughts. Let them turn to the Lord, and he will have mercy on them, and to our God, for he will freely pardon. (niv)

“ Remember, Lord, how I have walked before you faithfully and with wholehearted devotion and have done what is good in your eyes.” And Hezekiah wept bitterly. (niv)

Lord, hear my prayer, listen to my cry for mercy; in your faithfulness and righteousness come to my relief.Do not bring your servant into judgment, for no one living is righteous before you. (niv)

If you, Lord, kept a record of sins, Lord, who could stand?But with you there is forgiveness, so that we can, with reverence, serve you. (niv)

Israel, put your hope in the Lord, for with the Lord is unfailing love and with him is full redemption. (niv)

Lord, remember David and all his self- denial.He swore an oath to the Lord, he made a vow to the Mighty One of Jacob:“ I will not enter my house or go to my bed,I will allow no sleep to my eyes or slumber to my eyelids,till I find a place for the Lord, a dwelling for the Mighty One of Jacob.” (niv)

Remember, Lord, your great mercy and love, for they are from of old.Do not remember the sins of my youth and my rebellious ways; according to your love remember me, for you, Lord, are good. (niv)

Kings will be your foster fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers. They will bow down before you with their faces to the ground; they will lick the dust at your feet. Then you will know that I am the Lord; those who hope in me will not be disappointed.” (niv)

Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. (niv)

The king ordered Hilkiah the high priest, the priests next in rank and the doorkeepers to remove from the temple of the Lord all the articles made for Baal and Asherah and all the starry hosts. He burned them outside Jerusalem in the fields of the Kidron Valley and took the ashes to Bethel. (niv)

But I, by your great love, can come into your house; in reverence I bow down toward your holy temple. (niv)

These searched for their family records, but they could not find them and so were excluded from the priesthood as unclean.The governor, therefore, ordered them not to eat any of the most sacred food until there should be a priest ministering with the Urim and Thummim. (niv)

Remember me with favor, my God, for all I have done for these people. (niv)

Joshua was the father of Joiakim, Joiakim the father of Eliashib, Eliashib the father of Joiada, (niv)

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day— and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing. (niv)

The priests then slaughtered the goats and presented their blood on the altar for a sin offering to atone for all Israel, because the king had ordered the burnt offering and the sin offering for all Israel. (niv)

Hezekiah gave the order to sacrifice the burnt offering on the altar. As the offering began, singing to the Lord began also, accompanied by trumpets and the instruments of David king of Israel. (niv)

Now this is our boast: Our conscience testifies that we have conducted ourselves in the world, and especially in our relations with you, with integrity and godly sincerity. We have done so, relying not on worldly wisdom but on God’s grace. (niv)

He said to them,“ You are the heads of the Levitical families; you and your fellow Levites are to consecrate yourselves and bring up the ark of the Lord, the God of Israel, to the place I have prepared for it.It was because you, the Levites, did not bring it up the first time that the Lord our God broke out in anger against us. We did not inquire of him about how to do it in the prescribed way.”So the priests and Levites consecrated themselves in order to bring up the ark of the Lord, the God of Israel. (niv)

He brought in the priests and the Levites, assembled them in the square on the east sideand said:“ Listen to me, Levites! Consecrate yourselves now and consecrate the temple of the Lord, the God of your ancestors. Remove all defilement from the sanctuary. (niv)
