我使利未人、潔其身體、防範邑門、恪守安息日、以為聖日、我既行此、望上帝垂念、恆懷矜憫、宥我罪愆。

我命利未人自潔己身、來守城門、守安息日為聖日、求我天主因此事垂念我、循主之恩憐憫我、○

Then I commanded the Levites to purify themselves and go and guard the gates in order to keep the Sabbath day holy. Remember me for this also, my God, and show mercy to me according to your great love.

I commanded the Levites to make themselves pure. Then I told them to go and guard the gates. I wanted the Sabbath day to be kept holy. You are my God. Remember me because of the good things I’ve done. Be kind to me according to your great love.

Then I commanded the Levites that they should purify themselves and come and guard the gates, to keep the Sabbath day holy. Remember this also in my favor, O my God, and spare me according to the greatness of your steadfast love.

Then I commanded the Levites to purify themselves and to guard the gates in order to preserve the holiness of the Sabbath. Remember this good deed also, O my God! Have compassion on me according to your great and unfailing love.

Then I instructed the Levites to purify themselves and guard the city gates in order to keep the Sabbath day holy. Remember me for this also, my God, and look on me with compassion according to the abundance of your faithful love.

And I ordered the Levites that they were to purify themselves and come as gatekeepers to sanctify the Sabbath day. For this also remember me, my God, and have compassion on me according to the greatness of Your mercy.

And I commanded the Levites that they should cleanse themselves, and that they should go and guard the gates, to sanctify the Sabbath day. Remember me, O my God, concerning this also, and spare me according to the greatness of Your mercy!

And I commanded the Levites that they should purify themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the sabbath day. Remember unto me, O my God, this also, and spare me according to the greatness of thy lovingkindness.

Then I directed the Levites to purify themselves and come and guard the gates in order to keep the Sabbath day holy. For this please remember me, O my God, and have pity on me in keeping with your great love.

I commanded the Levites that they should purify themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the Sabbath day. Remember to me, my God, this also, and spare me according to the greatness of your loving kindness.

願邪惡的人停止作惡，不義的人除掉惡念。願他們歸向耶和華，祂必憐憫他們；願他們歸向我們的上帝，祂必仁慈地赦免他們。

「耶和華啊，求你顧念我怎樣全心、忠誠地事奉你，做你視為善的事。」希西迦痛哭起來。

耶和華啊，求你垂聽我的禱告，傾聽我的呼求，求你憑你的信實和公義應允我的祈求。求你不要審判你的僕人，因為在你眼中沒有一個義人。

主耶和華啊，倘若你追究我們的罪過，誰能站得住呢？然而，你赦免我們，所以你當受敬畏。

以色列啊，要信靠耶和華，因為祂有慈愛，能完全救贖我們。

耶和華啊，求你顧念大衛和他所受的一切苦難。他曾向你起誓，向雅各的大能者許願說：「我不為耶和華找到居所，不為雅各的大能者找到安居之處，必不進家門，不沾床，不睡覺，不打盹。」

耶和華啊，求你顧念你亙古以來常施的憐憫和慈愛，求你饒恕我年輕時的罪惡和過犯，以你的恩惠和慈愛待我。

列王必做你的養父，王后必做你的褓姆。他們必向你俯伏下拜，舔你腳上的塵土。那時你便知道我是耶和華，信靠我的必不致失望。」

上帝啊，求你憐憫我，因為你的慈愛永不改變；求你除去我的過犯，因為你有無限的憐憫。

王吩咐大祭司希勒迦及其副手和殿門守衛清除耶和華殿裡用來祭拜巴力、亞舍拉及天上萬象的一切器具，將其搬到耶路撒冷城外汲淪溪旁的田野燒掉，又把灰燼帶到伯特利。

因為你有無限的慈愛，我要進入你的居所，我要滿懷敬畏地向你的聖殿下拜。

我的上帝啊，求你記念我為這些民眾所做的一切，施恩於我。

耶書亞生約雅金，約雅金生以利亞實，以利亞實生耶何耶大，

那美好的仗，我打過了；當跑的路，我跑完了；所信的道，我持守住了。從此，有公義的冠冕為我預備，按公義審判的主會在祂來的那一天把它賜給我，不但會賜給我，也會賜給所有愛慕祂顯現的人。

祭司宰了公山羊，把血灑在壇上作贖罪祭，為所有以色列人贖罪，因為王吩咐要為所有以色列人獻上燔祭和贖罪祭。

希西迦下令在壇上獻燔祭。開始獻燔祭時，伴隨著號角聲和以色列王大衛的樂器聲，響起了頌讚耶和華的歌聲。

我們感到自豪的是：我們本著上帝所賜的聖潔和誠實為人處世，倚靠祂的恩典，不倚靠人的聰明才智，對待你們更是這樣。這一點，我們的良心可以作證。

對他們說：「你們是利未人的族長，你們和你們的族人都要潔淨自己，好將以色列的上帝耶和華的約櫃抬到我所預備的地方。先前你們沒有抬約櫃，我們也沒有按規矩求問我們的上帝耶和華，以致祂向我們發怒。」於是祭司和利未人就潔淨自己，好將以色列的上帝耶和華的約櫃抬上來。

他把眾祭司和利未人召集在東邊的廣場，對他們說：「利未人啊，請聽我說！現在你們要潔淨自己，也要潔淨你們祖先的上帝耶和華的殿，除去聖所中的污穢之物。
