其餘之民、祭司、利未人、守門者、謳歌者、殿役、及凡與異邦人絕交從天主律法者、並其妻其子女、凡有知識能明者、

all these now join their fellow Israelites the nobles, and bind themselves with a curse and an oath to follow the Law of God given through Moses the servant of God and to obey carefully all the commands, regulations and decrees of the Lord our Lord.

All the men joined the nobles of their people. They made a firm agreement. They made a promise and said they would be cursed if they didn’t keep it. They promised to follow the Law of God. It had been given through Moses, the servant of God. They promised to obey carefully all the commands, rules and laws of the Lord our Lord.

我曾起誓，並且堅守誓言，我必遵守你公義的典章。

王站在他的位上，在耶和華面前立約，要一心一意跟隨耶和華，謹守他的誡命、法度和律例，實行這書上所記立約的誓言。

神拯救萬人的恩典已經顯明出來了。這恩典訓練我們除去不敬虔的心，和屬世的私慾，在今生過著自律、公正、敬虔的生活，等候那有福的盼望，就是我們偉大的神，救主耶穌基督榮耀的顯現。他為我們捨己，為的是要救贖我們脫離一切不法的事，並且潔淨我們作他自己的子民，熱心善工。

王站在柱旁，在耶和華面前立約，要一心一意跟從耶和華，謹守他的誡命、典章和律例，實行這書上所寫有關這約的話。眾民都一同立約。

他們就說：“我們必定歸還，不再向他們要求利息了，你怎麼說，我們願意照著你說的去行。”我就把祭司們召了來，叫眾人起誓必照著這話去行。我抖著胸前的衣襟說：“不履行這話的，願神也是這樣抖他離開他的家和產業，直到抖空。”全體會眾都說：“阿們！”又讚美耶和華。眾人都照著這話去行。

我必把我的靈放在你們裡面，使你們遵行我的律例，謹守遵行我的典章。

你們若行我所吩咐你們的，就是我的朋友了。

到了天亮，猶太人在一起祕密計謀，並且發誓說，不殺保羅，就不吃不喝。一同策劃這項陰謀的有四十多人。他們來見眾祭司長和長老，說：“我們已經發了誓，不殺保羅，就不吃東西。現在你們和公議會要通知千夫長，帶保羅到你們這裡來，裝作要詳細審查他。我們已經預備好了，不等他走近，就把他殺了。”

但有幾個人接近他，並且信了主，其中有亞略．巴古的議員丟尼修，一個名叫戴馬里的女子，還有其他在一起的人。

耶和華我們的主啊！你的名在全地是多麼威嚴，你把你的榮美彰顯在天上。

耶和華憐憫雅各，再揀選以色列，使他們安居在自己的國土上的時候，外族人必與他們聯合，歸屬於雅各家。

摩西不是曾經把律法傳給你們嗎？你們竟然沒有一個人遵行律法。你們為甚麼想要殺我呢？”

他到了那裡，看見神所施的恩，就很歡喜，勸勉眾人堅心靠主。

不尋求耶和華以色列的神的，無論男女老幼，都必處死。他們就大聲歡呼，吹起號角，向耶和華起誓。

所以，你們要照著耶和華你們的神吩咐你們的，謹守遵行，不可偏離左右。

“你們要謹記我僕人摩西的律法，就是我在何烈山為以色列眾人所吩咐他的律例和典章。

你不要聽他們，因為他們有四十多人正在埋伏起來等著保羅；他們發了誓，不殺保羅，就不吃不喝。現在他們已經準備好了，只等你答應。”

為要使他們謹守他的律例，遵守他的律法。你們要讚美耶和華。

愛，不可虛偽；惡，要厭惡；善，要持守。

摩西把以色列人都召了來，對他們說：“以色列人哪，我今日講給你們聽的律例和典章，你們要聽從，要學習，要謹慎遵行。

你要對他們說：耶和華這樣說：如果你們不聽從我，不遵行我設立在你們面前的律法，

“‘製造耶和華厭惡的雕像或鑄像，工人手中做的，並且在暗處設立的，那人必受咒詛。’眾民都要應聲說：‘阿們。’“‘輕慢父母的，必受咒詛。’眾民都要說：‘阿們。’“‘移動鄰舍地界的，必受咒詛。’眾民都要說：‘阿們。’“‘使瞎子走錯路的，必受咒詛。’眾民都要說：‘阿們。’“‘對寄居的和孤兒寡婦屈枉正直的，必受咒詛。’眾民都要說：‘阿們。’“‘和父親的妻子同寢的，必受咒詛，因為他揭開了他父親的衣襟。’眾民都要說：‘阿們。’“‘和任何野獸同寢的，必受咒詛。’眾民都要說：‘阿們。’“‘和同父異母，或是同母異父的姊妹同寢的，必受咒詛。’眾民都要說：‘阿們。’“‘和岳母同寢的，必受咒詛。’眾民都要說：‘阿們。’“‘暗中殺害鄰舍的，必受咒詛。’眾民都要說：‘阿們。’“‘接受賄賂殺人，流無辜人的血的，必受咒詛。’眾民都要說：‘阿們。’“‘不堅守這律法的話去遵行的，必受咒詛。’眾民都要說：‘阿們。’”

耶和華以色列的神啊，你應許你的僕人我父親大衛說：‘只要你的子孫謹守他們的行為，遵守我的律法，像你在我面前所行的一樣，你就不會斷人在我面前坐上以色列的王位。’現在求你應驗這話吧。

為要叫你遵守耶和華你的神今日與你所立的約，和他向你所起的誓；這樣，他今日可以立你作他的子民，他可以作你的神，正如他曾經對你說過的，又對你的列祖亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起過誓的。“我不但與你們立這約，起這誓；

我就責備他們，咒詛他們，擊打他們中間的幾個人，拔下他們的頭髮，叫他們指著神起誓，說：“你們決不可把自己的女兒嫁給他們的兒子，也決不可為兒子或為自己娶他們的女兒。

可是耶戶沒有盡心遵行耶和華以色列神的律法，離棄耶羅波安使以色列人陷於罪中的那些罪。

耶和華我們的主啊！你的名在全地是多麼威嚴。

律法是藉著摩西頒布的，恩典和真理卻是藉著耶穌基督而來的。

摩西把律法吩咐我們，作為雅各會眾的基業。
