他们为我的子民抽签，用男童交换妓女，女童被卖换酒喝。

夜里每到交更的时分，你要起来呼喊；在主面前你要倾心如水！你的孩童在各街头上因饥饿而昏倒，你要为他们的性命向主举手祷告。

他们的婴孩必在他们眼前被摔死；他们的房屋必被抢掠，他们的妻子必被污辱。

君王不是因兵多得胜，勇士不是因力大得救。想靠马得胜是枉然的；马虽然力大，也不能救人。

黄金怎么竟然失去光泽，纯金怎么竟然变色？圣殿的石头都被抛弃在各街头上。

哈薛说：“我主为什么哭起来了？”他回答：“因为我已知道你要对以色列人施行的恶事。他们的城堡，你要放火焚烧；他们的年轻人，你要用刀杀死；他们的婴孩，你要摔死；他们的孕妇，你要剖开。”

将要被毁灭的（“将要被毁灭的”有古译本作“毁灭者”）巴比伦城（“城”原文作“女子”）啊！照着你待我们的行为报复你的，那人有福了。

“耶和华这样说：‘亚扪三番四次犯罪，我必不收回惩罚他的命令；因为他为了扩张疆界，甚至剖开基列孕妇的肚腹。

哀号吧！因为耶和华的日子近了，这日子来到，好像毁灭从全能者那里来到一样。
