今也牡獅之穴安在、壯獅養育養育或作攫食之處安在、昔者牡獅牝獅、以及穉獅、俱遊於斯、無人叱之、叱之或作敢惹

Where now is the lions’ den, the place where they fed their young, where the lion and lioness went, and the cubs, with nothing to fear?

Assyria is like a lion. Where is the lions’ den now? Where did they feed their cubs? Where did all the lions go? In their den they had nothing to fear.

Where is the lions’ den, the feeding place of the young lions, where the lion and lioness went, where his cubs were, with none to disturb?

Where now is that great Nineveh, that den filled with young lions? It was a place where people— like lions and their cubs— walked freely and without fear.

Where is the lions’ lair, or the feeding ground of the young lions, where the lion and lioness prowled, and the lion’s cub, with nothing to frighten them away?

Where is the den of the lions And the feeding place of the young lions, Where the lion, lioness, and lion’s cub went With nothing to disturb them?

他们要吼叫，像母狮子，咆哮，像少壮狮子；他们要咆哮抓食，坦然叼去，无人救回。

少壮狮子向他咆哮，大声吼叫，使他的地荒凉；城邑也都焚烧，无人居住。

狮子的吼叫和猛狮的声音尽都止息；少壮狮子的牙齿也都敲掉。老狮子因绝食而死；母狮之子也都离散。

“以色列是打散的羊，是被狮子赶出的。首先是亚述王将他吞灭，末后是巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒将他的骨头折断。”

说：你的母亲是什么呢？是个母狮子，蹲伏在狮子中间，在少壮狮子中养育小狮子。在它小狮子中养大一个，成了少壮狮子，学会抓食而吃人。列国听见了就把它捉在他们的坑中，用钩子拉到埃及地去。母狮见自己等候失了指望，就从它小狮子中又将一个养为少壮狮子。它在众狮子中走来走去，成了少壮狮子，学会抓食而吃人。它知道列国的宫殿，又使他们的城邑变为荒场；因它咆哮的声音，遍地和其中所有的就都荒废。于是四围邦国各省的人来攻击它，将网撒在它身上，捉在他们的坑中。

“仇敌必像狮子从约旦河边的丛林上来，攻击坚固的居所。转眼之间，我要使他们逃跑，离开这地。谁蒙拣选，我就派谁治理这地。谁能比我呢？谁能给我定规日期呢？有何牧人能在我面前站立得住呢？

祸哉！这流人血的城，充满谎诈和强暴，抢夺的事总不止息。

犹大是个小狮子；我儿啊，你抓了食便上去。你屈下身去，卧如公狮，蹲如母狮，谁敢惹你？

耶和华对我如此说：狮子和少壮狮子护食咆哮，就是喊许多牧人来攻击它，它总不因他们的声音惊惶，也不因他们的喧哗缩伏。如此，万军之耶和华也必降临在锡安山冈上争战。

有狮子从密林中上来，是毁坏列国的。它已经动身出离本处，要使你的地荒凉，使你的城邑变为荒场无人居住。

她中间的首领是咆哮的狮子；她的审判官是晚上的豺狼，一点食物也不留到早晨。
