And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias:Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.

And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold,[ there appeared] a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.And Elisha saw[ it], and he cried, My father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces.

They answering said, John the Baptist; but some[ say], Elias; and others[ say], that one of the old prophets is risen again.

And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See[ thou do it] not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.

For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

And he said unto them, These[ are] the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and[ in] the prophets, and[ in] the psalms, concerning me.

Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is[ one] that accuseth you,[ even] Moses, in whom ye trust.For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me: for he wrote of me.But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?

Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD.And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.

Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace[ that should come] unto you:Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
