守日子的人是为主而守，吃的人是为主而吃，因为他感谢上帝；不吃的人是为主不吃，他也同样感谢上帝。

主人回来，看见奴仆警醒等候，奴仆就有福了！我实在告诉你们，主人必束上腰带请他们坐席，并亲自服侍他们。

你们一进城，就会在他上丘坛吃祭物之前遇见他。因为他不来，人们不能吃，他要先为祭物祝谢后，人们才可以吃。你们现在上去吧，一定会遇见他。”

当时那里约有五千男人。耶稣便对使徒说：“让这些人分组坐下，每组大约五十人。”于是使徒安排众人都坐好。

耶稣说：“拿来给我。”于是，祂叫众人坐在草地上，然后拿起那五个饼和两条鱼，举目望着天祝谢后，就掰开饼递给门徒，让他们分给众人。

耶稣说：“你们叫大家坐下。”那地方草很多，众人便坐下来，当时在场的男人大约有五千。耶稣拿起饼来祝谢后，分给坐着的众人，然后又照样分鱼，众人可以随意吃。

祂母亲对仆人说：“祂叫你们做什么，你们就做什么。”

耶稣便吩咐大家坐在地上。祂拿着那七个饼和几条鱼祝谢后，掰开，递给门徒，门徒再分给大家。

他们吃的时候，耶稣拿起饼来，祝谢后掰开分给门徒，说：“拿去吃吧，这是我的身体。”

耶稣吩咐门徒叫大家分组坐在草地上。于是众人坐下，有的五十人一组，有的一百人一组。耶稣拿起那五个饼、两条鱼，举目望着天祝谢后，掰开递给门徒，让他们分给众人。祂又照样把那两条鱼分给众人。大家都吃了，并且吃饱了。门徒把剩下的碎饼、碎鱼收拾起来，装满了十二个篮子。当时吃饼的男人有五千。

如果我存感恩的心吃，为什么还要受批评呢？”所以，你们或吃或喝，无论做什么，都要为上帝的荣耀而做。

后来有几条从提比哩亚来的小船停泊在岸边，靠近主祝谢后让众人吃饼的地方。

你们无论做什么事、说什么话，都要奉主耶稣的名而行，并借着祂感谢父上帝。

吃饭的时候，耶稣拿起饼来，祝谢后，掰开递给他们。

禁止人结婚和吃某些食物。其实那些食物是上帝创造的，为了让相信并且明白真理的人存感谢的心领受。上帝所造的一切都是美好的，若以感恩的心去领受，就无需任何禁忌，因为上帝的道和人的祷告可以使食物圣洁。
