你們這自誇是不好的。豈不知一點麵酵能使全團發起來嗎？你們既是無酵的麵，應當把舊酵除淨，好使你們成為新團；因為我們逾越節的羔羊基督已經被殺獻祭了。所以，我們守這節不可用舊酵，也不可用惡毒、邪惡的酵，只用誠實真正的無酵餅。

耶穌對他們說：「你們要謹慎，防備法利賽人和撒都該人的酵。」

這時，有幾萬人聚集，甚至彼此踐踏。耶穌開講，先對門徒說：「你們要防備法利賽人的酵，就是假冒為善。掩蓋的事沒有不露出來的；隱藏的事沒有不被人知道的。

後來，他們打發幾個法利賽人和幾個希律黨的人到耶穌那裏，要就着他的話陷害他。

於是對眾人說：「你們要謹慎自守，免去一切的貪心，因為人的生命不在乎家道豐富。」

我在叫萬物生活的神面前，並在向本丟‧彼拉多作過那美好見證的基督耶穌面前囑咐你：

我對你們說：『要防備法利賽人和撒都該人的酵』，這話不是指着餅說的，你們怎麼不明白呢？」門徒這才曉得他說的不是叫他們防備餅的酵，乃是防備法利賽人和撒都該人的教訓。

「凡獻給耶和華的素祭都不可有酵；因為你們不可燒一點酵、一點蜜當作火祭獻給耶和華。

當時，法利賽人出去商議，怎樣就着耶穌的話陷害他，就打發他們的門徒同希律黨的人去見耶穌，說：「夫子，我們知道你是誠實人，並且誠誠實實傳神的道，甚麼人你都不徇情面，因為你不看人的外貌。請告訴我們，你的意見如何？納稅給凱撒可以不可以？」耶穌看出他們的惡意，就說：「假冒為善的人哪，為甚麼試探我？

那時，分封的王希律聽見耶穌的名聲，

你要使眾人回想這些事，在主面前囑咐他們：不可為言語爭辯；這是沒有益處的，只能敗壞聽見的人。

「我兒所羅門哪，你當認識耶和華－你父的神，誠心樂意地事奉他；因為他鑒察眾人的心，知道一切心思意念。你若尋求他，他必使你尋見；你若離棄他，他必永遠丟棄你。你當謹慎，因耶和華揀選你建造殿宇作為聖所。你當剛強去行。」

大衛又對他兒子所羅門說：「你當剛強壯膽去行！不要懼怕，也不要驚惶。因為耶和華神就是我的神，與你同在；他必不撇下你，也不丟棄你，直到耶和華殿的工作都完畢了。

我在神和基督耶穌並蒙揀選的天使面前囑咐你：要遵守這些話，不可存成見，行事也不可有偏心。

從正月十四日晚上，直到二十一日晚上，你們要吃無酵餅。在你們各家中，七日之內不可有酵；因為凡吃有酵之物的，無論是寄居的，是本地的，必從以色列的會中剪除。有酵的物，你們都不可吃；在你們一切住處要吃無酵餅。」

我兒，不可聽了教訓而又偏離知識的言語。

使他站在祭司以利亞撒和全會眾面前，囑咐他，又將你的尊榮給他幾分，使以色列全會眾都聽從他。他要站在祭司以利亞撒面前；以利亞撒要憑烏陵的判斷，在耶和華面前為他求問。他和以色列全會眾都要遵以利亞撒的命出入。」於是摩西照耶和華所吩咐的將約書亞領來，使他站在祭司以利亞撒和全會眾面前，按手在他頭上，囑咐他，是照耶和華藉摩西所說的話。
