有迦南婦人來自彼域、大呼曰：『主、大維子、其垂憐焉。吾女為魔所祟、苦甚』

有會董名雅依祿者一見耶穌、即俯伏足前、而懇之曰：『小女病篤、危在旦夕、求惠然臨舍、一撫其身、俾痊而得生。』

一癩者至、跽而乞耶穌曰：『子若願者、必能令予潔。』

伏耶穌足前、鳴其忻感。

一人對曰：『夫子、吾適攜一子來謁。此子患瘖魔、祟、隨在傾跌、流涎切齒、形容枯槁。曾央爾門徒祛之、而不能也。』耶穌喟然嘆曰：『無信之世代乎！我之偕爾、當至何時？我之忍爾、當至何時？且攜汝子前來。』比至、一見耶穌、魔即拘攣其人、其人仆地、輾轉吐沫。耶穌問其父曰：『患此已幾時？』曰：『自幼已然。魔屢投之水火、欲致斃焉。倘爾能為力、請憫而助我。』耶穌曰：『倘爾能信、於信者萬事皆可能也。』

伯鐸祿甫入、高乃流迓之、俯伏足前而頂禮焉。伯鐸祿挽之曰；『請起、予亦人耳。』

凡此種種、皆我若望之所親聞親睹；既聞既睹、乃俯伏導我之天神前而朝拜之、天神止之曰：「慎毋為此！爾我與先知、兄弟、及共守此書者、彼此皆入同寅；惟當朝拜天主耳。」

婦知不能隱、惴焉而懼、遂俯伏足前、具以實告。
