你们一进城，在他登上邱坛吃祭物之前，必遇见他。因为他未到，众人不能先吃，他必先为祭物祝谢，然后客人才可以吃。现在你们上去吧！今天，你们必可遇见他。”

凡你们所作的，无论是言语或行为，都要奉主耶稣的名，藉着他感谢父神。

因为凡神所造的，都是好的，只要存感谢的心领受，没有一样是可以弃绝的；都因着神的道和人的祈求成为圣洁了。

拿起那七个饼和那些鱼，祝谢了，擘开递给门徒，门徒又分给众人。

不过有几只从提比里亚来的船停在那里，靠近他们在主祝谢以后吃饼的地方。

耶稣讲完了这些话，就举目望天，说：“父啊，时候到了，求你荣耀你的儿子，让儿子也荣耀你，

他们吃的时候，耶稣拿起饼来，祝谢了就擘开，递给门徒，说：“你们拿去吃吧，这是我的身体。”

所以，你们或吃喝，或作什么，一切都要为神的荣耀而行。

于是他们把石头挪开。耶稣举目向天，说：“父啊，我感谢你，因为你垂听了我，

你吃饱了，就要称颂耶和华你的神，因为他把那美地赐了给你。

守日的人是为主守的，吃的人是为主吃的，因为他感谢神；不吃的人是为主不吃，他也感谢神。

耶稣拿起饼来，祝谢了，就分给坐着的人；分鱼也是这样，都是随着他们所要的。

保罗说了这话，就拿起饼来，在众人面前感谢神，然后擘开来吃。
