Jesus also said,“ The Kingdom of God is like a farmer who scatters seed on the ground.

He also said,“ This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground.

Jesus also said,“ Here is what God’s kingdom is like. A farmer scatters seed on the ground.

And he said,“ The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground.

“ The kingdom of God is like this,” he said.“ A man scatters seed on the ground.

And He was saying,“ The kingdom of God is like a man who casts seed upon the soil;

And He said,“ The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground,

And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed upon the earth;

“ The kingdom of God is like this,” He said.“ A man scatters seed on the ground;

And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;

He also said,“ The kingdom of God is like someone who spreads seed on the ground.

He said,“ God’s Kingdom is as if a man should cast seed on the earth,

Here is another story Jesus told:“ The Kingdom of Heaven is like a farmer who planted good seed in his field.

For you have been born again, but not to a life that will quickly end. Your new life will last forever because it comes from the eternal, living word of God.As the Scriptures say,“ People are like grass; their beauty is like a flower in the field. The grass withers and the flower fades.But the word of the Lord remains forever.” And that word is the Good News that was preached to you.

The harvesters are paid good wages, and the fruit they harvest is people brought to eternal life. What joy awaits both the planter and the harvester alike!You know the saying,‘ One plants and another harvests.’ And it’s true.I sent you to harvest where you didn’t plant; others had already done the work, and now you will get to gather the harvest.”

Plant your seed in the morning and keep busy all afternoon, for you don’t know if profit will come from one activity or another— or maybe both.

Then Jesus said,“ What is the Kingdom of God like? How can I illustrate it?

He replied,“ You are permitted to understand the secrets of the Kingdom of Heaven, but others are not.

From then on Jesus began to preach,“ Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.”

“ A farmer went out to plant his seed. As he scattered it across his field, some seed fell on a footpath, where it was stepped on, and the birds ate it.

I tell you the truth, unless a kernel of wheat is planted in the soil and dies, it remains alone. But its death will produce many new kernels— a plentiful harvest of new lives.

I planted the seed in your hearts, and Apollos watered it, but it was God who made it grow.It’s not important who does the planting, or who does the watering. What’s important is that God makes the seed grow.The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their own hard work.For we are both God’s workers. And you are God’s field. You are God’s building.

Evil people get rich for the moment, but the reward of the godly will last.

Here is another illustration Jesus used:“ The Kingdom of Heaven is like a mustard seed planted in a field.

Farmers who wait for perfect weather never plant. If they watch every cloud, they never harvest.

“ This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is God’s word.

“ Listen! A farmer went out to plant some seed.As he scattered it across his field, some of the seed fell on a footpath, and the birds came and ate it.

“ Repent of your sins and turn to God, for the Kingdom of Heaven is near.”

And those who are peacemakers will plant seeds of peace and reap a harvest of righteousness.

The farmer plants seed by taking God’s word to others.The seed that fell on the footpath represents those who hear the message, only to have Satan come at once and take it away.The seed on the rocky soil represents those who hear the message and immediately receive it with joy.But since they don’t have deep roots, they don’t last long. They fall away as soon as they have problems or are persecuted for believing God’s word.The seed that fell among the thorns represents others who hear God’s word,but all too quickly the message is crowded out by the worries of this life, the lure of wealth, and the desire for other things, so no fruit is produced.And the seed that fell on good soil represents those who hear and accept God’s word and produce a harvest of thirty, sixty, or even a hundred times as much as had been planted!”

Does a farmer always plow and never sow? Is he forever cultivating the soil and never planting?Does he not finally plant his seeds— black cumin, cumin, wheat, barley, and emmer wheat— each in its proper way, and each in its proper place?The farmer knows just what to do, for God has given him understanding.

He told many stories in the form of parables, such as this one:“ Listen! A farmer went out to plant some seeds.

Jesus also used this illustration:“ The Kingdom of Heaven is like the yeast a woman used in making bread. Even though she put only a little yeast in three measures of flour, it permeated every part of the dough.”

the Lord will greatly bless his people. Wherever they plant seed, bountiful crops will spring up. Their cattle and donkeys will graze freely.
