He also said,“ This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground.

Jesus also said,“ Here is what God’s kingdom is like. A farmer scatters seed on the ground.

And he said,“ The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground.

Jesus also said,“ The Kingdom of God is like a farmer who scatters seed on the ground.

“ The kingdom of God is like this,” he said.“ A man scatters seed on the ground.

And He was saying,“ The kingdom of God is like a man who casts seed upon the soil;

And He said,“ The kingdom of God is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground,

And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed upon the earth;

“ The kingdom of God is like this,” He said.“ A man scatters seed on the ground;

And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;

He also said,“ The kingdom of God is like someone who spreads seed on the ground.

He said,“ God’s Kingdom is as if a man should cast seed on the earth,

Jesus told them another parable:“ The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field.

For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.For,“ All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall,but the word of the Lord endures forever.” And this is the word that was preached to you.

Even now the one who reaps draws a wage and harvests a crop for eternal life, so that the sower and the reaper may be glad together.Thus the saying‘ One sows and another reaps’ is trueI sent you to reap what you have not worked for. Others have done the hard work, and you have reaped the benefits of their labor.”

Sow your seed in the morning, and at evening let your hands not be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well.

Then Jesus asked,“ What is the kingdom of God like? What shall I compare it to?

He replied,“ Because the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven has been given to you, but not to them.

From that time on Jesus began to preach,“ Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”

“ A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path; it was trampled on, and the birds ate it up.

Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.

I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow.The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor.For we are co- workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.

A wicked person earns deceptive wages, but the one who sows righteousness reaps a sure reward.

He told them another parable:“ The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field.

Whoever watches the wind will not plant; whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.

“ This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God.

“ Listen! A farmer went out to sow his seed.As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up.

and saying,“ Repent, for the kingdom of heaven has come near.”

Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.

The farmer sows the word.Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them.Others, like seed sown on rocky places, hear the word and at once receive it with joy.But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away.Still others, like seed sown among thorns, hear the word;but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful.Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop— some thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times what was sown.”

When a farmer plows for planting, does he plow continually? Does he keep on breaking up and working the soil?When he has leveled the surface, does he not sow caraway and scatter cumin? Does he not plant wheat in its place, barley in its plot, and spelt in its field?His God instructs him and teaches him the right way.

Then he told them many things in parables, saying:“ A farmer went out to sow his seed.

He told them still another parable:“ The kingdom of heaven is like yeast that a woman took and mixed into about sixty pounds of flour until it worked all through the dough.”

how blessed you will be, sowing your seed by every stream, and letting your cattle and donkeys range free.
